Why Summoner use a summon spell. Did they turn summoner to be a summon. LOL
If I understood correctly, we need to use what previously was the enkindle skill s for each primal to atune ourselves to their aether (like a pseudo dreadwyrm trance if you will) and get access to their new egi actions. Also, bahamut does seem to auto-attack on its own and dreadwyrm trance is gone.

sad that carbuncle/egis are just there standing, doing nothing. bring back at least their auto attacks. i will not mind the hit to potencies. just bring back carbuncle/egi auto attacks.
so the carbuncle could be any of the 3 primals ? like a mini version?

Just get rid of the pet altogether and let us just summon, no need for it.

I may be wrong but there doesn't seem to be many buttons to press. A lot of the gameplay of the 3 summons seems to be spam 2 moves. Looks cool though.
Only change they should've made was give all the DOTs to SCH.
All of the spells available aren't on the hotbars.
