Finally got to the end of FFXIV Heavensward 3.0, and wanted to share my live ffxiv heavensward reaction, from the end of the final dungeon right up where the credits roll. Including both the big fights and all scenes in between.

Obviously this will contain heavy spoilers from the Heavensward MSQ.

Also this clip is a live reaction FFXIV reaction from the Twitch stream, so you will see me interact with people in chat and engage with polls and predictions etc.

  1. Storywise, the fight against King Thordan was basically a 1v13 primals fight. The fact that the WoL still won truly shocked Thordan. Thus his, "Who– what are you?!" reaction.

  2. Regarding Thorodan killing Lahabrea, that was planted in the run-up to Leviathan. The Emissary taught the Sahagin High Priest the power of the Echo to make his soul immortal, like an Ascian. The Sahagin was able to jump multiple bodies, but was then absorbed by Leviathan. As a primal, Thordan was able to do both the trapping and destroying the Ascian soul naturally.

(As for why you get Igeyorhm instead of Lahabrea, I just assumed it was just because she was the one who tried to leave first, and the WoL acted impulsively to stop her.)

  3. I love how the Ultimate End (Thordan's final attack) has kept the signature 'screen glass breaking' effect since The Knights of the Round was first introduced in FFVII.

  4. I love that you're sticking with my favorite class. Dragoon is so good at end game. Rotation only get better and better as you level.
Also you inspired me to level fishing and in a single weekend I went from 1 to 64.

  5. I'm so glad you posted this! I love watching reactions to big story moments, but I'm not always able to catch them live, and it can sometimes be a pain to find certain spots in a stream vod that's hours long. So thank you. Thordan Extreme is one of my favorite fights in the game.
