Another thing to look at for the crafted EX Trial weapons is if it'd be cheaper to buy the materials and craft it yourself rather than buy the weapon outright. If it's an old trial then there's no need to bother with HQ, since it'll just be a glam and all you gotta do is just get it made. This is especially true for ARR weapons, since the main EX Trial drops go for spare change (I just looked it up and there were Large Levin Orbs from Ramuh extreme going for 37 gil over on one of the JP servers, although you're more likely to need to spend 1k-5k on most servers), and the rest of the materials are likely to be cheap too since there's nothing that people really need them for other than these glam weapons or some lower-level glam armours.
