  1. "Is there anything this game does not have?
Yeah, good PVP… or so I heard consistently from everyone. It's the main reason I haven't given it a try. Well, that and MMOs are too time consuming for my tastes these days.

  2. In my humble opinion, GW 2 still has the best PvP and combat gameplay when compared to WoW and FF 14. Following the GW 1 tradition, you can jump straight into PVP with everything maxed out the moment you finish character creation. I'll leave it at that and let you try it yourself once the honeymoon period is over.

  3. After playing for around 500 hours in the past few months, one of the biggest things ive noticed is my connection to my character. Maybe its different for you since youve one tricked pally forever, but i just feel so familiar and connected with my ffxiv character. Gpose, emotes, glamours, dyes, you just have SO much customization and socilization in this game compared to wow. Not to mention EVERY part of the game is relevant, unlike 80% of wow content. As asmon said, "Content from 7 years ago is more relevant in ffxiv than content from 7 months ago in wow" Glad you gave this game a fair chance. Its really a special experience.

  4. Crysis Core is the best.
i was also a hardcore wow player, but i quit after Cataclysm… came back for every expansion but did not stay longer then a month.
grinding times are over, time is precious my friens. spend it in reallife.
the perfect mmorp? monster hunter world with a open world & dungeon/raid & pvp & targeting system like in WoW because monster hunter is basically a singleplayer.

  5. Few things. Your heroes of the storm comparison was not on point since you can easily carry just like in any other moba as long as you are good. Second what the game has in fun quality of life it lacks in systems that allow a player to crack their brains on. The reason I quit ff14 after shadowbringers was not that the game was bad. It’s that I’m simply not paying s game to read a mediocre story. If I want a story I go to actually read. After leveling a few classes I began missing the uniqueness of my character and his build gameplay wise. The community is not as toxic as wow but it’s not as clear as you say. You are a popular streamer that surrounded himself with the most loving people and most don’t get that when playing, me for example, the devs do take action quickly tho. But it also lacked content that I can try hard in. 90% of collectibles you can get without using more than 2 neurons in your brain and same goes for most content. I loved the game for the first 200 hours just like all other mmos but objectively looking at it I have more consistent fun with games that provide gameplay diversity and challenging content that has many ways to solve. Ff14 is a good game but definitely overhyped. My friends played ff14 for 3 weeks straight 10 hours a day until they reached about 300 hours and without me saying anything about it they just quit after having done most the game has to offer. That’s not a bad thing but in their case they missed the mythic + system that kept them engaged For longer and more desirable period. That would be fine if they wished to return to ff14 but from what I inquired it seems that the model based on socializing more than playing is unappealing to them since it hurst their social life/ hobby/ work balance and gives them something they already get from real life. Those games would be great for some people but in our case I would say wow has a better deal. Plus even tho many joke about it, I don’t actually have to buy anything with real money.

  6. I seriously am so happy for you, Savix! To hear you so excited and content is relieving. You deserve to have a good time.I had to let go of wow just because of the boosting in pvp alone. I played wow cause of you, inspiring me to rank up in arena. FF14 really showed me that I don't have to pvp to enjoy MMOs as much, and I look forward to the changes sqaure-enix makes to PvP soon.

  7. its sad to see you go, savix, but i understand why you left wow, however, i will not follow you along your new journey, since i have no interest in ff14, i hope that you enjoy and find what you´re searching for in this game and have a great time ! (:

  8. Hardcore wow player here.

Tried FF14 but I couldn't get into how slow and clunky the combat is. I was playing a warrior and the combo I had to press over and over again was just…very dull.

Maybe I'll re-try this again soon

  9. also maybe try some single player rpg's bro when you get mmo burnt out. love the vid, take care Savix. imo wow's time needs to end for the sake of it's own fan base. glad you liked ffxiv, it looks really good.

  10. Let me tell you Savix I was very glad that you tried the game. I was never really into WoW but I used to watch every single video of Pilav. I loved them and I think the first video that I saw you in was Pilavs police video where you were driving around on the motorcicle randomly killing other players 😀
from there on I started to watch your videos regularly as well and I really think that we got an other really good content creator with you to Final Fantasy 14. 🙂

  11. Happy for you to be apart of this great community. FF14 has always been a game you can pick up at anytime and play for as long or as short as you want. Other than seasonal events all the content will still be there whenever you decide to pick it up again. Heck even old content can still be relevant for relic weapons, primal farming for mounts, raids for glam. It's a game you can just hang out with friends & chill. So keep doing what you do Sav & the wait for Endwalker is almost over 😀
