Chaos Omega server is a very down-to-earth sort of RP server, that puts a lot of emphasis on being true to the setting. Ofc you have some people who are more out there, and ERP happens too, but by and large its very grounded. Some people find it to be stiffling though, so its a matter of taste.
It always makes me sad to see a video about FFXIV's "Roleplay Scene" only to find out it's another video about nightclubs… They have fairly little to do with the immersive experience of the actual roleplaying scene in the game and it seems so foreign to me to throw those things together like streamers started doing it lately.

I was there. One of the DJs was lit.. turned it on twitch, turned in game music off, increases the experience 300 percent. Preach was drinking real alcohol too. It was legit a nightclub experience in your house.

The twitch DJ scene is huge, especially since the pandemic! And yeah these DJs have huge followings over here on Crystal!

What is so amazing about the game you can just get there party and chiling and you don't even need to do story and be party all day 😄😄😃😃
I lack imagination and I was kicked out multiple times from LOTRO guild for not RPing properly. I admit I never watch or read them so I was terrible and misinformed. So I come to terms that I can't RP. But seeing others enjoying themselves does bring joy to me.

I actually LOVE dancing at clubs, I started playing FFXIv in January thinking about the savage raids and ultimate, I did do them, but the most fun I had is when I've found out about the clubs, even bought some dance emotes 'cuz I felt lame knowing how to dance irl and not in game xD

welcome to why a lot of people go to the venues ^^ the live DJing is amazing.
The exact night before preach went to the black sapphire opening I got dragged onto a wedding party. I was really against it at first and the same thought about it basically just be ERP central… But i was just completely wrong. I met another group of people going to nightclubs every weekend just talking shit in their party chat and Rp-ing outside of it. Now a week later I went to another club with them, spent 8 hours there and its was probably the most fun i have had in a while.
I got to warn people though, it gets addicting really fast if you find the right friends there!
