Hi guys! Been awhile, got married, my wife came to USA in December 2021 about 21 months after I filed the K-1 visa. Haven't had time to game much, been working hard. Currently level 83. Housing prices are kinda insane…. =/. Feels bad paying 25k for a 1 bedroom apartment here in Santa Barbara =/. I'm gonna try to purchase something Ventura/Oxnard next year or maybe I'll move on over to Texas. (Probably looking at San Antonio, Dallas, or Houston (Have some family in Houston), also Houston and San Antonio has a decent sized Vietnamese Community.) You guys have any thoughts on Houston and San Antonio?
Job changes been a on going thing since 2.0 so to me the drama is just stupid. I play warrior and I do not do the end game savage raid stuff. People acting like this is new when it's not. WoW combat is really boring you basically press three buttons over and over again. I will say in FF14 the skills may be a bit bloated they could reduce some of that as some of the rotations are very long. I miss have my extra fell cleave though but I can get over it some. I been exp more bad healers than anything.
The people that get all concerned about story skipping is insane. I tried in EW to watch and read everything, but it is so much I just want to be in a damn dungeon. It is a little frustrating people want to act "inclusive" until you say I just want to chill and fight stuff.
Regarding Zepla, my stance which I will share with anyone who listens is straight forward. Automatic suspensions are okay. That is useful when a person is not available and something needs to happen immediately. Banning a PARTNERED streamer to the point their VODs are delisted and their follows are remove without a MANUAL REVIEW is unacceptable.
I love Chris' takes and analogies.

Also, re: you being quiet in the "high end community", I honestly listen to your takes even thought I am a hard-core week 1 clear-er/prog-er.
I find that you are not biased, and you play other competitive PVE mmo's like WOW. So your opinions are super valid even though you don't partake in the "Hard" content upon release

When you put yourself out there for public consumption with your opinions, there are going to be people that disagree. And some of those people are going to strongly disagree by saying hateful things. It comes with the territory. Besides, Chris is clearly egging people on by constantly being in your face about being a story skipper. If you wanted only positive comments, then you would create content about the game that is not opinion based. Most gaming content is either complaining about a game or giving your opinion about a game. By it's very nature, you are creating drama which gets clicks. You are saying, I want to make a certain portion of you angry because you don't agree with my opinion but I don't want you to voice that anger. If you don't want the anger, don't make the content. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
Segment 2 is what I'm here for. What passes for drama around here. Love to see it.
But I don't know if "I'm gonna do what I want to do, you just have to be mad about it, I guess" is the way. Sounds like that's a great way to get even more annoying people, rather than less. As is the private basically witchhunting addon, but I guess I don't have a engineering degree or something. That last bit was a joke, kind of.
As for the criticism of the game thing, I criticize this game all the time. More than I probably should. Most of this game is so good that the annoying things are even more annoying.
