  1. Zenos was all about Zenos he did not care about anything else. I did not care for this final duty after the Metieon fight. It did get annoying with test your reflexes. Emit on the other hand wanted to bring back his people and he did not care if what he considered inferior people died as long as his people could come back. But in the end he knew that his way did not work and asked you to save what he held most dear. Save our star!

  2. I honestly hope they keep making our WOLs more expressive like the smirk you get with the first response. It’s simply fun to see your character express your choice in ways other than just lip movement.

  3. My initial reaction was nearly identical to yours. I wanted nothing to do with this fight. I never wanted to give him what he wanted. I wanted to leave him there to rot. Watching a bunch of reactions afterwards, and sitting with it, I can grasp the idea that Zenos is the stand-in for the player, but I never viewed the game from the perspective of the WoL being "me" so most of it fell really flat. The fight itself was a ton of fun mechanically, and gave us a "test of your reflexes!" so it didn't take away from the ending, it just didn't add to it for me.

  4. I think Zenos would have to be dealt with either way. Personally I found it a good mood cleanser after the rollercoaster that was the Thule, but even if it wasn't, Zenos needed to die. Even if that meant having to give him the satisfaction.
Long as he lived, Etheirys would've still been in mortal danger.

Imo they should've had their confrontation sooner, maybe use the WoL's creation magic to summon Shinryu after the fact but it is what it is. It wasn't perfect but it needed to happen; he'd overstay his welcome if he lived to and maybe through 6.1 onwards.
