The FF 4 boss music brought back memories! 😭😂 I can't wait to play this expansion! I love seeing how FF 14 is nowhere close to slowing down!💞💞💕

  12. FF4 is my most nostalgic game and was my favorite game of all time (I think FF14 has taken that spot now). So I'm LOVING all of the nods and references to FF4 with Endwalker!

    Oh, and I completely agree that I think eventually we will be fighting Golbez!

  26. I wonder if the Reaper is Zenos' Avatar in it's 'true' form. Maybe we give it the light from Hydaelyn's crystal and it de-voids? I know the Avatar's voice from 6.1 voice was deeper, but it was also somewhat distorted, so I don't know if I wanna take their tone in that patch too seriously at the moment.

    EDIT Also the scythe the Avatar is holding when walking toward the WOL bears a rather similar appearance to the one the new Reaper is holding/wearing at other parts in the video. Not saying it's confirmed, but definitely a possibility.

  27. FFIV was more than just my first Final Fantasy game: it was the first RPG I ever played. It's the game that taught me you can have emotional storytelling on that level in a video game.

    As you can imagine, this trailer had me shaking.😅

  28. crystal = a crystal of light. so probably a dead warrior of light (or a new one), my money is that its the crystal of light to the warrior of light from the 13th, probably that reaper girl we meet in the trailer.

    2.) that bomb ass track is more than likely the ost for the 8th fight in the new raid, whenever a new raid drops they normally play a small bit of the music in the trailers, (both 8 man raids in the even patches and 24 man raids in the odd patches)

  30. watching the fight with scarmiglione again and noticed the new reaper lady is there (trust member or just part of it regardless?), really curious about who she is and what her role is going to be going forward . . . maybe the 13th's Azem?

  37. I find myself wondering if that narrator in the first few seconds is really a new character, or just someone who might not have been voiced previously. Because the dialogue really, really makes me think it's Cyella. And there IS that hanging plot thread from the Void quest line after you finish all the role quests in Shadowbringers. Y'shtola isn't the only one trying to find a way into the Thirteenth. If Beq Lugg and Unikalhai go forward with their own plans for an expedition, then Cyella/Cylva could be the narrator here. There'd have to be some filler story for the sake of people who never did the role quests though.
