  1. I know this was a joke (and a great video!) but GOD DAMN am I sick of people who are neither programmers OR game developers and have no idea how systems testing works complaining about how it should have been impossible for such a "massive" bug to make it through.

Also can people PLEASE stop complaining about the FC wards? Because it's much better to err on the side of caution; you can convert empty FC houses to PC houses, but you can't convert full PC houses to FC houses.

This has been "Tiara Takes Everything Too Seriously" thanks for coming!

  2. 'We listen to the players, unless they play one of the inferior roles or races.'
Me, the lala dark knight… Ya, I dug my grave so deep I somehow FINALLY got a buff to my 'die anyway' skill. (it now finally does what all the other tanks 5 minute CD not die skills do!) And I am happy for finally having my 1 request ever fulfilled.

  4. Maybe it is because I am a free trial player, but the only thing that appeals to me for housing is the ability to grow plants due to all the seeds I can obtain in game. I'm fine with being a homeless WoL, but I would be grand if I was given a portable pot to grow things (even if it was at a slower rate than normal plant growth). Heck, be nice if they could do barracks for all the grand companies that allowed people a communal garden / stable setup where you get back 80% of what you put into it. The 20% goes to "upkeep" and also allows for a small stipend of Gil, GC marks, or some other small items you might want (like crafting gems)

  5. Wonder how much of this Yoshi-P would agree with if he actually saw this. I'm just glad I got my mansion years ago before the huge influx of players. Though Lavender Beds was my first choice.

  6. Having actual physical and limited plots of land is a neat feature… if people actually cared about having vistable estates. I'm willing to bet that if they added instanced housing and only you (and maybe people on your friends list) could visit it, 95% of people would be absolutely fine with that and the demand for the actual plots of land would plummet.

I own a concert hall where bards perform. It's an actual in-game space that I own that I use for community stuff, and all you need is an address and you can visit it, too. That's what the housing system is GREAT at. The majority of people I feel don't give a crap about that, though, they just want a pretty little private space they can decorate, do a little gardening, and then AFK in while waiting for queues.
