Yes, I Played FFXIV with a Nerf Gunblade Controller

How I played FFXIV with an actual Nerf Gunblade controller. I don’t think I can ever play Gunbreaker the same way after today. I somehow actually built a functioning Nerf Gunblade

  1. Instead of using nerf darts and vibration sensors. You could've put a laser pointer and connected it into the gun in the barrel. If you could find a way to turn on the laser pointer by pulling the trigger, you could instead make a light sensor in the boxes that would detect when the laser points at it. (Basically laser tag) That way you would never have to worry about running out of ammo, or having to reload.

  2. how hard would it be rather than physical darts, that you switch to a laser tag-esque configuration? have a laser pointer and an IR triggered light to IR receiver in the boxes instead? no need to reload; just point and shoot?

  3. Your builds are insanely amazing, dude.

Do you think its possible to replace the nerf darts with something like a laser pointer instead? Wouldn't be as fun but can that solve the ammo issue?
