My problem with DRG was it literally had more positional than monk. Coming from shadowbringer that was just baffling. So when they said rework I was excited then they delayed it to next expansion I waited. Now they’re not giving a rework so I’m just disappointed to be fair.
The dragoon is currently perfect and balanced. he doesn't need any change. And change a jump for a dash… For the dragoon…
The combats gotten too dumbed down now it makes combat boring AF
as a dragoon main this is all very good to me, it makes me happy
I love how Xeno is all for QoL changes when he's better than 99% of the scrubs in his chat- who are like "MAKE GAME HARDER. LESS CONVENIENT THE BETTER!"
ppl dont understand drg and it shows, the changes are good for the class, its not a full re work so the class will play the same, but now you will burst off the rip and your true norths will line up better, merging actions makes room for more new skills in the future, spine shatter is now just a normal gap closer iirc, and yes Xeno is right dragonfire dive is hot garbage for 300 potency lmao
Dragonfire Dive both too cool to get rid of AND it's an important skill tied to the level 50 DRG job quest. You use Dragonfire Dive on Estenien in the cutscene. It blew his ass into the next expansion. 😂
Reducing the cooldown timer on it would be better.

People pogging at the monk changes are legit the same who are gonna drop the class a month into the expansion. GJ guys you complained enough and got what you wanted for a month woooooooooooo.

I kinda understand how people can feel about the DRG "rework". We were used to having actual reworks for quite a while now. EW SMN or ShB MCH, just to name a few, were actual reworks : the whole job was changed with new core mechanics and a new flow. Hell, MNK, as usual, seems to get bigger changes than DRG gets despite being advertised as "reworked" for at least a year (probably way more than a year, but I don't remember when the AST and DRG reworks were announced).
The changes for the other melees look fine.
I'm really glad SAM gets actual audio feedback again on Third Eye procs. Also it's funny that even a japanese person can't say the SAM skills names with confidence.
The new follow-ups on MNK's riddles look interesting, I kinda want to know more about the riddle of earth follow-up though since it doesn't look like an offensive ability.
RPR changes aren't impressive, but the new skills look great and the QoL the job received can't go wrong.
NIN looks fun to play as always. Basically no big change, the Huton change and the new gauge only changes the punishment for messing up Armor Crush timings.
