Not only that, the very fact that the "face" section exist confuse me, all the changes and customisation of character creation are dictated and limited by wich face you pic.
I love Xeno even more for knowing Gado the Lion from Bloody Roar. He may not remember the name if the game, but he remembers the game. Yes, Xeno, Gado is a badass

Yea, I’m not gonna lie xeno when it comes to character creation options ff14 compared to other games really lacks in that department smh. They should had more beard options or facial options period depending on the race.

FFIXV chara customization options have always been rather limited. I dont think this is the first time they put a unique, defining feature on an npc, never making that feature availiable to character customization. Most what we can do forces lore friendliness.
And listening to that, reminds me of why i use Japanese voiceovers. Seriously, that vouce actor on Alisie is wrong in numerous ways.
Been wondering why myself for years about the lack of beards in FF14, one of the things WoW does better.
I guess we'll just have to wait for them to add a Garlean race to get those beards smh
The dream would be to have every beard and hairstyle seen in the game be made available for every race but for now, it's just a dream.

Even though I am a proud Au ra with no need/want for a beard, I do sympathize. If you can get enough people to complain about it, they will add it. I'll stand with you should you choose to make the attempt for change.

Why can't i put hair on my character , and why i can't use any hats on my Viera? I have the same question for years, and things are not getting better, with every update, expansion the problem get bigger and bigger and Sq doesn't care, probably these little things will be the reason i will quit ff the moment i find a decent mmo, and they probably need to rebuild the game to be resolved because of the dumb decisions they made and the Ps3 limitations they forced on themselves when they launched the game on it. I don't know how they want this game to survive 10more years when with every patch the game gets worse and worse in the customization and probably they have no plan to change that, because they are accustomed to the lazy way of doing things and there is always something that has more priority than these things, and square uses the money ff14 generates to give budget to games like Avangers and the likes while Ff14 probably just gets the bare minimum to survive.
Ngl, really seems like they just need to completely overhaul whatever they use for characters. Seems way to limiting. Either that or the character team is kind of incompetent. Years to release a few basic character creation options that aren't even that good
