Wow Veteran REACTION to FFXIV A Realm Awoken 2.1 Trailer!!!

I keep hearing people say now that things in ARR are janky because "they had no budget" and then laugh about it but look at how much stuff they built for these 2.x patches, they were doing WORK. Setting up the game for future updates to be smoother and higher quality.
With the extremes that occupy your quest log with a 'clear this duty' objective, I would suggest doing a quick unsync'd clear just to complete the quest, but yeah by all means set aside some time to do it sync'd min ilevel and no echo. I'm sure there's still PLENTY of people who would love to jump in on those runs. Then farm at your leisure after.
I don't know if you had a chance to see the original Thornmarch (hard) but it had a nasty mechanic that would punish parties that ignored the little moogles and did too much damage to the king. Rather than doing a mix of telegraphed mechanics the core aspect was to kill nearly all the little moogles and THEN finish off the king. Another bit of trivia I recall reading somewhere – originally they had planned to go straight into the leviathan arc but then the tsunami stuff was going on and they pushed in Moogle King instead.
the beast tribe quest, now simply Tribal quest, can be unlocked at about level 40 for ARR ones.
for ARR tribes, all but one are combat quests. The one exception is for Disciple of Hand, that is, crafters
for HW onward, after unlocking them you can use them to level your alt jobs, with addition for Disciple of Land (gatherer) for Stormblood and after.
Treasure Maps are very much still a thing. Mats, mounts, and minions can be gotten from treasure maps as well as (of course) achievements. The map levels are every 10 levels from 50 on, and can be single player focused or team .
took me almost 2 years of playing the game before I was able to secure a house. Was really lucky, when they introduced new housing wards earlier this year. Building my medium house, collecting mats and crafting all the furniture myself was some of the most fun I've had in video games in years! Even if you don't get a house any time soon, you can always at least get an apartment and a room in your guild's house that you can decorate and design. 🙂
Treasure Maps you will normally hear about in end game, especially when a new glam crafting mat or sought after minion is added.
However, even lower level maps have some value. The single person Leather Map has the chance to drop a Lotus Leaf which sells very well on the MB. It’s an ingredient to make the indirect koi pond.
Comment for the algorithm! You should totally do treasure maps, I usually lurk on Fridays because my group does them that night. I get all kinds of Gil, and have gotten a few mounts overtime as well. A house is difficult to obtain and you’re unlikely to grab one anytime soon; go with an apartment first! There’s always an apartment available to dip your feet in decorative housing fun! You could also join a free company with a house and get a room there to decorate for yourself. Carry on, it’s been fun to watch (and participate in) your progress! (Elysian)
PvP has a small but dedicated audience.
7:45 — That could be an option if the giants were amenable to it ^^° which they werent: so either you let justice run its course, meaning the giants would everybody they encounter on the surface, oooooor stop them ^^° Priorities…. priorities…
Didnt know about these trailers… a lot of stuff you got used to were brand new at some point 😀 Btw, when you are a bit further (end of HW ^^° ), you might want to check out Larryzaur's history videos. Among others he talks about Revenant's Toll and how it looked like when we first go there for MSQ: is was literally just tents and rubbish "walls". During the post-ARR patches, the Toll gets upgrade and expanded bit by bit 🙂
