Welcome to FF!!! ARR Post-MSQ is such a slog. One of the worst in the game IMO. If you can get through that you can get through anything. Voice Acting does get improved/used more as the game's budget goes up.
Great Video Keep Up The Great Work
Welcome to FFXIV! You have only just begun to see what ff has to offer . There many many things you can do in game as you go along. Pve, PVP, Gold Saucer, etc. As for side quests, you must do Hilldibrands quests!
Hol' up. I think I know that Ange guy.
Good video, btw. Most people dislike the ARR story until it gets super close to HW. I do agree that the game just feels too solo player to be an MMO at times. I was playing Guild Wars 2 for a long time before I came back to 14, so it just kinda feels weird to not be able to play with friends as much as I'd like.
I am “enthralled” with this game also. I was also a former wow addict but quit in the beginning of Legion due to personal circumstances. I said i’d never play another mmo because of the sometimes mind numbing grind fest in WoW but I will never forget my friends who were so kind and fun to talk on ventrilo back in the day lol especially in Wrath of the Lich King. I started this game last summer 2021 and once you start there is no stopping especially once you fall in love with the characters and story. You’ll see how all the pieces fit perfectly together in Endwalker with many tears shed even in the skippable side story quests are so epic hint hint especially Shadowbringers expansion. I too play on Brynhildr! But yeah a year later I have almost all jobs to 90 working on my Paladin who is 83 atm and saving Dark Knight as they say best for last as I hear it has the best written job story so can’t wait and then off to level all my professions to make billions lol. Enjoy the ride it’ll be worth it in the end and there is so many things to do and discover for whatever suits your tastes! Also good to take breaks as burnout is definitely real there can also be too much of a good thing which is FFXIV lol I plan to also continue playing my other favorite franchise Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak for the pure adrenaline rush lol ok can’t wait to see more of your adventures! Enjoy!
Why the heck is your sub count not in the five digits?
Might be a good idea not to post videos of you using plugins, kind of frowned upon by the devs and some in the community, other than that good video 🙂
I don't think ARR will receive a ton more updates I suspect once 2.0 to 6.0 is fully solo able they will find a way to make 6.1 an optional new starting point for new players.
I say this because they are implementing a glossary for characters, terms and events and with full duty support as well as the new game+ feature which in all reasonably allows for new characters to start with all prior storylines finished to have all content unlocked from the get go or probably once finished with the story available upon when the change is made.
While I think it will happen probably not until 2024 or 2025 as duty support will still lack 25 duties at the end of this expansion being 8man trials and crystal tower. I think it's the reasonable conclusion based on where they put their efforts the last few years and the monstrous size of the MSQ is approaching.
