Without our purposes aligning, anyone the warrior of light has come across must have seen them as legitimately frightening. It's interesting to think about.

100% agree with the Beas tribe situation. The reason they summoned their gods was due to them feeling attacked by Linsa, uldah, or gridania. They felt oppressed and that caused them to summon something to protect them. And of course once that god has tempered them they would lose all sense of good.
If you do the beast tribe quests. (Dailies). You will find sects of these beast tribes that have remained untempered so their views are completely different.
I like how the games gives us little pieces of this big, big puzzle
I can't spoil things for Hydaelyn but defiantly wait till the end of ff14 to make this kinda theory 😮 it would help to break down her story a bit more so it can help with your theory. Things are due to change and don't worry we all been down this road before XD it's a fun theory. Yet I will say this. That scene with Thordain going WHO, WHAT are you? is allot more hard hitting when you complete shadow bringers.
All I have to say is play Endwalker. This is all quite well explained there in more depth. Emet Selchs ramblings are just 1 side of a story that is really really cool.
i completely disagree, in ShB Scions only fight because its their time to live, they say multiple times that the ascians world is gone…and their era is over and should be left to all its new inhabitants to rule. Itd be mad hypocritical of them if the same thing happened to them and they resorted to genocide to get their world back. Not to mention 10's of thousands of years passed between the world splitting into the different stars and the events of ShB. I doubt that the WoL would try to murder everyone on the planet to bring back HIS version of the world.
