Everyone has heard the memes and the conversations about how great Final Fantasy XIV is as an MMO, game and community. But I wanted to dig a little deeper into what makes Final Fantasy XIV so good!

So, I get in touch with a whole bunch of other Final Fantasy XIV content creators and asked them a single question; what does FFXIV mean to you?

  9. What does it mean to me?

    To be part of a world both ingame and outside where I can continue to meet, greet and see many amazing individuals.
    While the game itself is absolutely tremendous in its own way, the story, gameplay, content and such, the community being one of the best I see anywhere online, FFXIV is where I met some of the closest, amazing people I consider almost a family. They've helped me and my fiancee in many ways, from getting our visa, to going to Japan to visit irl, and to make future promises and ideas together, it's a place where I know I can continue to be myself more than ever and to meet everyone who will do the same.

    A thousand thanks, a thousand cheers, and a thousand good will to Naoki Yoshida and his team, and to everyone else in the world of Eorzea. =) I hope to see some of you guys as well both ingame and..Well, maybe not real life cause I'm from New Zealand, but perhaps a stream? xD

    Hm, what does FFXIV mean to me?

    It's a platform for unending creativity. Be it through roleplay, gposing, creating glamours it offers such potential to just create things, be it content or otherwise. It brings people together and creates a 2nd home. In the six years ive been apart of this game i've met so many people along the way and its an experience id not trade for the world. This is a living breathing world that is ever changing each day and words fail me when I think of how to best express that wonderful feeling.
