We need to talk about 6.0 Ninja… (FFXIV Endwalker)

I just have to say that if you like Ninja atm, that is perfectly fine…but I don’t. If this video made you mad then I’m sorry I guess.

  1. IMO they could really easily fix this. Firstly, they need to remove the restriction of the GCD cancelling the buff, seems unnecessarily fluffed. Secondly, if they want to keep the stacks, then make both Forked and Fleeting consume a full stack, with Forked changing into Fleeting after the initial use. It'll end up being (kind of) like the Gallows/Gibbet combo on Reaper. That way, we get to store it up and use the full combo every 2 Raitons so we don't feel obligated to become Pikachu with a volt tackle addiction, or we can choose to use it as a gap closer.

I honestly don't know how this made it out of the beta test, I didn't think they would make a job have more animation locks than Dragoon but they managed to do that.

  2. Bro I talked with ppl on The Balance and they're on fucking copium!
They said some shit when I mentioned that Raijus could be ogcds and they responded with 'Nah that will be OP', which SQEX can tone the number down or something like 'Nay I don't have a problem with stun lock' while they were complained on Assassinate.
Just tweak number of Raijus potency a bit down for 300 something potency, make it ogcd and make it able to be keep.
I had a lot of fun playing NIN during 5.55, but now NIN is sucks ass even tho potency wise is on par with RPR or can somehow compete with SAM.

  3. Used the main ninja since ARR and now i may swap to reaper. Im so close to loving ninja too its just, 1. I feel like phantom kamaitachi should be oGCD. but thats not even a huge thing for me, my biggest gripe is that youre instantly forced to use the two Raijus, if you could just save the charges till you needed them i think that would be fine. Tho the first Raiju being an oGCD would be nice

  4. if can just stay max melee and not get forced gap close i'll be happy already
when u're not in melee range it should still be gap close but when u're max melee i dont see why it forced u to gapclose its so stupid
