  1. The intro was incredible, thank you for that ♥
I've always been a fan of big double-handed swords, so obviously Dark Knight was always my objective.
About what you said about axes, you probably should level up Warrior. They DO have giant axes. Some of them are beautiful.
The "double jumping" is the default jump for the ninja job ! It looks fun.

  2. Pick whatever class you enjoy the most. If your having fun, your doing it right! Also, you get an exp boost called Amory bonus if you have a higher level job and start a low level one. Makes it faster to try others out.

  3. So next video you’re gonna see me as a black mag-
Sound of interrupted cast goes in

Jokes aside, can’t wait to see you getting on the heavy part of HW lore !! ❤

  4. Lmao, that intro. * clap clap *

About the jobs, just pick what tickles your fancy!

Those funny jumps you saw at Ishard it's because they were Rogue/Ninja. If you have your weapon unseathed and jump, the character does a frontflip.

The reason you can't fly anymore it's because you have to unlock it again.

From now on, you need to collect "Aether Currents". They're green balls of aether that they're in specific locations in each region. You can find them using the Aether Compass, which should be in your menu "Duty" > "Collection". If you click it, it should tell you the direction they're located, or not, if you already gathered them all.

You also need to collect some Aether Currents via some quests. You can check the status of your aether currents under the menu "Travel" > "Aether Currents".

When you collect them all for a certain region, you will be able to fly.

  5. 6:42 What you saw is a ninja. The ninja job jumps that way. You can unlock rogue in Limsa Lominsa near the fisher guild. They advance to ninja at level 30.
Amazing intro by the way. And that cut before loading Sea of Clouds? Godlike!

  6. "I want to be an anime when I grow up!"
"You can't just become an anime."
    "Oh yeah? Just watch me!"
[Hyura later went on to become an anime and live happily ever after. The End.]

In regards to which job to play… Play whichever seems most fun at the time. I started as Archer, myself, and was a Bard main until mid-Heavensward, where I started rotating between that, White Mage, and Ninja. Then Ninja/Paladin through Stormblood, Dancer/Warrior/Black Mage for Shadowbringers, and Ninja/Dancer/Astrologian for Endwalker. Now I'm a Sage/Monk main. So really there's no wrong or right job to play so long as you're having fun. THAT SAID, if you want to play the "poster jobs" for each expansion (as depicted in their respective trailers)… ARR is Bard into Warrior, Heavensward is Dragoon, Stormblood is Monk into Samurai, Shadowbringers is Dark Knight, and Endwalker is Paladin.

Suggestion: If the intro is going to be a one-time thing, perhaps you could upload it on its own and set it as your channel trailer? That way it's the first thing new viewers see when finding your channel. And honestly, what would be more badass than that? (Other than say… making a new version after finishing each expansion, treating it like "new season, new opening".)

  7. That intro was epic! Play whatever class/job you enjoy the most, black mage might be a bit tough though xD Whatever you decide to go with have fun with Heavensward! 🙂

  8. "A BRIDGE!"

Man that blm won at the last second xD
But in the end, just look into the classes, there are tons of classes videos without any story spoilers and just take what looks best and feels best for you.
Blm makes some ppl unhappy xP
No Stories are gone anyway, you can do them all the way at some point^^

  9. Awesome intro… but I need a translation 😀

3:47 — All three reasons at once ^.^ There no fun to be had if your job plays well but has lackluster grafics, and no matter how awesome the job's grafics may be, if gameplay is just meh, well… 😀

8:05 — "Why cant I fly?" – Well, my friend, let me start you off with a little history lesson: Waaaay back, when HW released, flying was a new feature. ARR didnt have any flying – at all. This only changed "recently" in 2020, in patch 5.3. And only mounts designated as "flying mounts" were able to fly. To unlock flying, you had to do three things: gather some Aether Currents, finish MSQ in that zone and do two or three additional unlock (blue) quests. Only if you did all that, you unlocked flying in that zone alone . It's still easily done, dont worry. In general, its a way of discovering the new zones 🙂

10:30 — Dont put yourself under so much pressure. You can easily level up multiple jobs simultanously 🙂 MSQ gives so much XP, its not even funny anymore XD Just pick what catches your fancy. Generally, just burning down MSQ might get you to the end faster, but its the journey that matters here, not so much the destination (unless you're only interested in the main story line and some endgame raiding ^^).

11:45 — Someone sounded so very happy at the end XD XD XD

    Sticker!!!

  10. Yeah unfortunately from heavensward on for flying in the zones you’ll have to attune to all the aether currents in the zone and do a few side quests! (There are some guides online that show the exact locations of them) also good luck on black mage bro o7

  11. You can switch jobs on the fly and play every job in FF14 so I wouldn't worry to much about focusing on only one, but, and it's kind of a big but, I would recommend sticking to a DPS job since it's your first time through the game. Healing and Tanking are usually bit more tricky and demanding roles since they are critical to how fights in dungeons and trials work, plus they usually imply that you already know mechanics and how to deal with bosses, and since you like to discover things for yourself, I'd say DPS is more stress free basically 👍
