After slacking for way too long on playing through more CNE content in Final Fantasy XIV, as part of my goals to accomplish before Endwalker I resolved to finish every single CNE storyline present in the game, starting by completing the Omega raids. So over on Twitch, I streamed my experience of the second and third Omega tiers, and upon arriving at Alphascape V2.0 (also known as o10) I found myself being warned by chat that the fight was going to be extremely hard and that they had personally had PUGs fail to accomplish the fight. Though I was skeptical due to the XIV tradition of hazing people over Cape Westwind, and thinking that this might be one such scenario, I dove headfirst into my 8v1 duel against Midgarsormr! Wait a minute… Wouldn’t eight test subjects mess with Omega’s results?

Impossible.
"You're making me fight my friend after you killed him."
Yep… That sums up the events of this fight pretty nicely.
Wait, that fight was supposed to be really hard?
It wasn't easy for me, but I'm scrub trash. I certainly didn't have much more difficulty than most other raids.
E10S was hard
But more infuriating hard than actually challenging hard
Just a mess of mechanics, some of which can break or go slightly wrong and the whole run is dead
For casual players, this fight can be sonewhat difficult maybe idk, but in general normal raids dungeons and trials are designed for casual player, which is why players shouldn’t think it’s to hard, if u like to test harder content, Go into min IL extremes, or battle latest released extreme that’s a good start.
Ps: if u never been in harder content don’t go in end savages, like E4,E8,E12. U should start with extremes 1st. But that’s just my opinion
over-geared
This fight was a lot longer with the intended minimum ilvl, also the Boss hit alot harder on minimum ilvl at the time it came out.
