A short tale from Unicorn:
there's this couple in Limsa Plaza that I've noticed for months now. They're always AFKing on the same spot every day–just your average daily players, but with a twist: that they'll Fantasia TWICE A WEEK on average. Send chills down my spine, really. Japanese's willingness to throw money away in games is so horrifying.

Just like #6, there's a dude from a different datacenter visiting our server, Zalera. He spends about 20 hours a day, dead by the Aetherite stairs exit in Ul'dar. Been doing this since October 2022. Every. Single. Day. No idea why. Folks now consider him part of the scenario and gather around to craft, chat, sit, "massage" him, put campfires and pillow pets by him to keep his body warm…
The jades are one player who multi boxes. He uses the jades and his FC to promote his twitch channel. He did lose half of his accounts a while back when he was using that one program that lets you do custom emote poses outside of Gpose, like a moron
The jade player has the omega microtransaction glam on like 15 of those chars lol. Actually anytime anything cool comes comes on the store they buy it on every character and show it off.
I mean, to prevent your monitor getting burned, you can just like, turn off the monitor…
Haha it's so weird but also lovable in a way to see certain people afk in the same place almost all the time. In EU on Spriggan we have a guy dancing in the middle of the Gridania Market and a pair of Miqote just looking at each other in Sharlayan near the Aetheryte. They're like always there when I pass by
When I started playing I found a line of lalafells and people started to stand in the line 😂😊
My man Tank Program. I remember seeing him stand up once and me and my friends shielded him with parasols and umbrellas.

Bunny Foofoo in Ul’dah on Cactuar, was afk since the day I started playing (about three weeks ago), until this morning. I was legit worried about him.

I’m in primal (famfrit) the jadesI’ve seen them ever since I was a sprout they are dedicated and one of my favorite things about that server haha I’ve seen them only in Limsa and old sharlyan even though they haven’t been to OS in awhile you’ll sometimes see some of them out and about probably leveling their characters lol
Wow, what a niche video… and yet, I recognize many of these AFKers! Loogie, Diaval, the Jade crew, the Weebo Police, Tank Program. I don't even dc travel that much, and yet I would recognize or remember them as the local AFKer lol!
Shoutout to Mint Dew on Jenova who's always dancing as a skimpy catgirl by the most recent expansion's main city aetheryte!
I've seen several of these AFKers travelling around the different data centres. The Au Ra doing the Omega emote on Cactuar has been there every time I have visited that Aetheryte, for months and months. I've seen the jades so many times as well!

Dude on famfrit has an alliance raid posted in limsa…oh shit there he is!…this video is dead on, i knew like 5 of these
on my server, there were two rivalry big guilds that wanted the same space in limsa for their guild gathering etc
it got so far, that for weeks/months they had always ppl there in the same spot to occupy it
i knew a few and asked how and why etc
they stayed on afk'ing even when at work or sleeping at night
just to occupy this certain spot instead of the other guild
but yeah, i think those afk people are on every server, but not just afk ppl, some players are like ALWAYS in their certain spots
when i go shopping in limsa i always see the same players every time FOR YEARS xD
Isnt there some plugin you can run, loggin in into your account, give a sertian promt, or takes over “control”, and logout on the game and let the dos ping your character online and let it just do its emote?
And you never heard of minimizing screens isnt it? So why burn in a screwn?
