  1. Another tip for striking dummies, when selected, right click the dummy name and you have an option to reset without having to run miles away to reset. This blew my mind when I found this out lol.

  2. Hey, as a very recent WoW refugee I found this super helpful. Just subscribed as I love your approach to content delivery! I am really enjoying the game and these tidbits are helping transition. Keep up the great work!

  3. dope video i didn't know most of these. Just started playing FFXIV after quitting 3 times in the past and all of a sudden the game clicked for me. It's been 12 days and i already have a lvl 60 fisher, lvl 52 culinarian and alchemist, and a lvl 49 Dragoon. Send help lol

  4. Even if you still like to look at gear stats and such I would still use the recommended button to compare things. It just saves time in my opinion rather than clicking over to item comparison for every little thing. Plus if you missed that you picked something up that can help you out as well.

  5. Thanks so much for doing this. I've only been playing since mid April and the error sound has been my constant companion. I'm glad to be rid of it. The UI info really helped a lot too.

  7. Well shit… first tip. I though the option in log window settings doesn't work so I resorted to silencing all system sounds via audio options. had no clue it will work once I'm in combat.

  8. The tip about splitting the castbar off from the target information changed my life! I never looked at the element menu before, and was complaining about the lack of some elements I'm used to from WoW. Turns out I just wasn't looking hard enough! Thanks.

  9. The clicking on quest info text for the location has just blown my freaking mind. Ive been opening the global map and scanning the map/each location. Helped me learn Eorzea really fast though

  10. I was able to retrieve my character back!!!

I logged in and I'm so overwhelmed! My inbox was from the devs giving me a bunch of glamour sets!

This video is a good help.

What sucks is having to set up my HUD for all my jobs!

But, at least I'm still a multimillionaire LMAO.

  11. This is so helpful thank you. The Problem is Asmongold will cripple himself when it comes to powerful Gear the second he starts to look like a Clown, i like to look like a Clown if i can oneshot the whole game with it i don't give a Fuck.

  12. A tip for the training dummy, if you right click on the target name you can press "reset striking dummy Enmity".
It will reset the aggro and you will be able to teleport or do anything else again without running away

  13. Ayy yo, how about top 5 actual tweaks to the game.
Let's start with more offensive OGCDs huh? Add some OGCDs as soon as level 3, even something as simple as a punch to ease the boredom of early levels.

On the same note, how about some enemies that move around the field as they attack? Standing still is super boring, I sympathize with tanks when they start spazzing out, dancing around enemies, cuz face tanking is just so goddamn mind numbingly boring. More AoEs and variety in enemy attacks so that they actually engage the melee players.

And that's about it for the top 5. Hey it's that short of a list of what I want to see. The game starts being great at 50, but fuck me is it so goddamn boring for most classes before that. I don't blame anyone for not putting up with that shit and just quitting, I mean sure the content at 50 is amazing, but no game should have you grinding for that long to be properly engaged with its combat.

Fix the early game slog and you have yourself a great game through and through.

  14. also a good tip as a newbie, thats helped me. Minfillia gives you Vesper Bay aetheryte tickets that let you instantly teleport to the waking sands, speeds MSQ up significantly.

  15. I have a tip for you: When you need to reset your threat on a target dummy, don't run 10000 miles from it. Right click it's target bar, then "reset enmity". Boom. dropped from combat. Edit. Looks like someone already gave it. doh.
