  1. After the ending of 5.3, 5.4 started off very slow with the side questing to save Ga Bu, which (while emotional) felt very boring to me. Once we see the tower and Fandaniel shows up telling you "Yeah, I want to off myself and everyone else" I was like, "Oh he CRAZY crazy" and 5.4 suddenly became so interesting. 5.5 definitely became that absolute race to Endwalker because everything just starts happening all at once.

    Fun fact: while you can't see Lunar Bahamut looming off in the distance, you are now at a point where you'll see the strange towers just outside of the maps everywhere. Constantly reminding you that shit is going down.

  3. 4:35 Character development for Merlwyb. Remember in ARR when Y'shtola called her out for stirring up trouble with the kobolds she was unrepentant cause Limsa needed what they stole from the kobolds?

    12:00 Remember G'raha's "acting" skills when he "betrayed" us on Mt. Gulg? Be ready for more.

    26:00 I was worried this was gonna be one of those situations where the captain's "sickness" was engineered for someone to take over. This guy, Mistbeard, and Merlwyb's father were the big three pirates in their age, so Merlwyb knows and respects him.

    33:00 Mistbeard has got to be the worst kept secret in La Noscea.

    49:33 And THAT'S why the blacksmith and armorer guilds are in Limsa, and why Limsa are the only folks besides Ishgard to have things like firearms and cannons. They learned it from the kobolds.

    55:50 Yeah. Annihilator which she used in the duel with Sicard. And Death Penalty. Both are weapons from other FF.

    1:00:50 Ozma, the black hole boss from Weeping City of Mhach, ate the city. You can see some of it inside him when he eats you during the fight, and the ruins are still floating 1.5k years later.
