  1. That 'sound' coming from the device at the end, there's a message there. It has been there since this Crystal Tower part came out back in patch 2.5. Keep a pin in this because It's gonna blow your mind when you get to where I can tell you where it comes front. I can't even hint at it right now, but one day, when you are ready.

  2. Regarding what you said about debuffs. Your debuffs are always the first in that long line. Yours also have green numbers on the countdown. Also, you can turn off everyone else's debuffs so you only see your own.

  3. So fun fact about Scylla (the dog headed ice boss). She was Xande's wife. She absolutely hated dogs. When she went to Amon for help preserving her beauty in old age, he instead turned her into a monstrosity with multiple dog heads. Turns out he didn't like her very much and thought it was hilarious.

  4. You're now all set and ready to resume your trip on the Road to Heavensward! If you're wondering why they were always talking about being well-rested between each raid, it's because these raids were originally released in 2.1, 2.3, and 2.5 which had quite a few IRL months between them.

Due to the fact that there was more time between the major Patches of ARR, they also unleashed about 13 or so Lv50 dungeons during that period of time. While they may have (Hard) in their name, they are actually completely new dungeons that just so happen to take place in the same location that a dungeon you may have run across in the ARR MSQ did. Here's an example:

The Tam-Tara Deepcroft is the very 2nd dungeon of the game. Its (Hard) variant and the story behind it are pretty terrifying. If you wish to experience true horror in your FF, there's a Lalafell standing near the North Gate in The Steps of Nald in Ul'dah, and his quest is "Corpse Groom".

But I digress! Now that you are done with the CT raids, you will no longer get blocked when you get to the best part of Patch 2.55's MSQ! I cannot elaborate without spoiling anything, so I will say only this:

You will get a warning that several cutscenes will play in sequence and that you will need to set aside sufficient time to view them in their entirety. Heed that warning! And have some popcorn ready too!

  5. I really enjoyed the fact that in Crystal Tower Warrior of Light is more of a side-character in G'raha Tia's story.
It was a bit of a refresh after being really big and important Main Protagonist, especially considering that this story was pretty tightly put together. And of course they put Eternal Wind at the end of it…

To be honest, other Alliance raids are a bit longer (and some are much harder) but in general, these are fun side-stories. Except for the Crystal Tower. Without spoiling, it plays its role in MSQ much later, hence why raid was made mandatory.
