I looooved this sequence all because the kids got to really show Fourchenault what they were capable of. It goes back to what Ameliance said, don't best him with words. Show him. Estinien and Fourchenault was a good one. (Also, I was a sobbing mess over Urianger's scene)
This god dam writing…. Masterful.
The Urianger scene is where I actually started crying and I didn't stop til the end … the very end.
And now I'm crying at work.
That dam Urianger scene had me ugly crying …. and it still gets me to tear up even now.
The description of the Moenbryda minion is actually a bit different in the Japanese version. This is a translation that someone made on Reddit a few years ago:
"A magical doll modeled after Moenbryda. Urianger created this doll by himself in secret in order to sort out the feelings he did not realize he had until after her death. No doubt the doll's gentle expression is a recreation of what he saw on her face whenever she looked at him."
Kind of wish they kept it closer to the original Japanese, since that last joke felt really unnecessary.
