  1. Furries according to Oxford Languages: an enthusiast for animal characters with human characteristics, in particular a person who dresses up in costume as such a character or uses one as an avatar online.

Au ra; the have have sacles, horns and a tail… that sounds like a lizard to me. Lizards are a animal 😉

  2. Sdjdncjsjd I’m the first miqo girl you recorded😸 Ty for letting me be in the video!! It was super fun watching your streams and waiting for the video, it’s so good hehe.
Also yeah, miqo’te may be “basic” but I love my wol and in spite of me not liking to fit into the crowd and being seen as “basic” I wouldn’t change her. She’s like a son to me🧎‍♀️and thats what counts I guess lmao

  3. I'm a Dragoon main and play male Au Ra. It took so long for me to make the switch because of how goofy they look when they stand and run but after applying my glams on them, I believe I found my style. Wasn't even aware of the male au ra stereotypes but didn't really care about it since I only wanted to look my best.

  4. love the video. personally if I could i'd play all the race, but chaing all my glamour to fit the race each time i change would be time consoming. cute glam for lala. sexy glam for Viera. cool glamour for Hyur. then mizing and matching everything… we need better glamour system 🙃

  5. Female Elezen player here – same character since 2.0 without using a fantasia. I like having that Unicorn status if you will. Though the stereotype of being reserved, helpful and not necessarily outspoken hits true at least for me.

  6. I think Dragons are cool. So when Au Ra dropped I used my free fantasia to go from Cat boy to Dragon boy. I had no idea there's this weird stereotype that bloomed about them.

  8. “Why would you play a human in fantasy?”

Is the fact that I’m a shield slinging wizard dressed as a city guard running around a magical world listening to buddy cop music with my outfit coordinated friend instead of the bgm not already zanny enough?

  9. Okay so the account I play in is an account I made 3yrs ago around the time endwalker just released. I played for about a month and completed ARR and half of the post ARR story and left the game cuz 1) I had potato PC and it can store so many games and 2) I was a freaking minor and had school as well. I came back about a few weeks ago and this is the first time I'm hearing about the Au Ra stereotype. Well I'm happy to say that you can't use that stereotype against me cuz I was a minor myself when I created my Au ra character.

  10. Yep, there ain't nothing wrong with basic. I will crush a basic bacon cheeseburger faster than G'raha Tia.

Edit: Forgot to include my WoL's race. I play male Highlander, and I love everything about it other than not having eyebrows.😅

  11. I had literally never heard of the Male Au'ra stereotype until this video. I made my Au'ra character because I wanted to make a Qestiri Au'ra because I thought it'd be cool to play a character who doesn't speak. And now I've got RP partners piled up around me because people find that dark and mysterious.
What you said is perfect; while people's personal experiences are valid, invalidating others by projecting that experience onto them is rude and unnecessary.
One of my two mains is a male Elezen and he's probably one of my favorite characters I've ever RP'd with. I'm gonna sparkle on just 'cause you asked me to.

  12. I used to be a male Raen Aura, but eventually switched to a catboy. And yes, the stereotype did play a part of it. I went pretty long, almost 2 years of not even knowing about it. Then once I heard about it I could never forget it and it kept bothering me. Catboy suits me just fine, the last thing i want to be associated with is creeps and predators. If the MAura stereotype was just cringy edgelords then I wouldn't even be bothered. Cringe edgelord is so much better than creep.

  13. I went Midlander because they didn't look weird in plate armor. I wanted to go Dragoon and I wanted to look "traditional". That was some time ago and if I had it to do over again I would probably go Highlander or Femroe.
