  1. This is a wonderful encapsulation of how many found the game, hearing about someone's experiences on a journey, sharing their feelings from the past to the present, and know their thoughts on where to go. For some, FF14 even changed lives. Excellent work.

  4. Lovely video, man.
My experience was starting off alone and curious, uncertain of anything at all- and then stumbling across someone from my server during my first Castrum Meridianum, who invited me to a FC where I spent many happy months. Times change, people leave, and so after 5.2 I took to the road to kind of reflect on myself and how this game had become a safe space.
It’s helped me grow as a person- from a silly, even immature teenager, to a thoughtful, friendly adult.
It was the questions the story asked me that served as the catalyst for such drastic change, and now I keep digging deeper to seek as many of those questions as I can find.
I eventually joined up with my current group, and before EW, I started raiding with them. I switched to Bard and grew as a player, learning the nuances of the rotation concept.
There’s nothing like your first MMO. I’m unbelievably glad Final Fantasy 14 was my first.

  5. A comedic, witty masterpiece that brings my entire experience with ffxiv into question and allows me to reflect on my past mistakes and the way the game changed me.

This video does just that. Have a good day everyone.
