Second half of The Abyssal Fracture where we fight Zeromus. The boss and theme song are both from Final Fantasy IV where the post-Endwalker story is inspired from.

Oh shit early early
I am not lying, I got so happy and teary eyed when the Red Wings kicked in
The most incredible gaming moment of my life happened when I was 8-years-old, and it centers on this music.
I booted up FFII (FFIV) on my SNES, not knowing what to expect, and was met with this theme as Cecil, the main character, rode on an airship with his soldiers to take the Crystal of Earth from the nation of Mysidia by force.
It still gives me chills. Video game stories weren't that deep before. Heroes were heroes, villains were villains. Everything was black & white, then here came FFIV. Cecil was no hero, nor was he a psychopath. He was a character at war with himself. He swore loyalty to his king and country, and yet his king and country sent him to do something completely against his core beliefs. This was 1991, FFS.
Sakaguchi and his team created a masterpiece that still stands among the most iconic video games of all-time, and what a banger of a song to begin FFIV. Nobuo Uematsu is a God composer, and it's no surprise now that his music could instantly grab you by the throat, but imagine being an 8-year-old kid in a world of heroes and villains stumbling into the brilliance of Final Fantasy IV.
It forever changed my perception of what a RPG could do as a storytelling device. Now that I'm playing FFXIV, seeing this theme reappear during the battle with Zeromus was just like the whole world coming into balance for me. My gaming life came full circle.🥰
When I did this fight Day One and got to this part, I went "FFIV fans are going to squeal". A friend of mine, a massive FFIV fan, was extremely giddy when she got to this part.
A fitting end to the FFIV inspiration, now we look to New Horizons and the New World.
Sadly I'm being a tightass these days and will only play 14 when I get more free time lol
This will be the first expansion I dont buy when its released
