  1. I agree about Hildibrand, it should not be mandatory or tied to something like relics(and never make them tomestone weapons again), especially now with how childish DT was and the role quests have the vibe of Hildebrand. It's like dad jokes, it's funny once in a while but if you have that tone constantly then it's just corny and turns grating.

  2. I'm gonna preface this hot take by saying that a grain of salt isn't going to be enough. You need to take this with an entire boulder of it. This is strictly my entirely biased opinion as someone who doesn't enjoy PvP in any MMO I've played.

I think Crystalline Conflict is a genuinely terrible game mode. It plays like a worse version of Smite and compounds the issues of XIV's bad PvP balancing thanks to it's rapid paced nature. That speed also makes it wildly difficult to understand the gameplay nuances we need to know for that mode, with games sometimes being so short that they can be finished within the first 2 minutes. Even Frontlines is less frustrating to play than that garbage, and I lament anytime I see it show up in Wondrous Tales.

Please remember to dislike this argument and tell me in the most vicious terms why I'm wrong. Just know that I won't be listening to anyone's reasonable arguments as my opinion on this matter is born of pure and seething hatred.

  3. the nature of this video makes me want to make a hot take.

there needs to be horizontal job progression from 8.0 on. seriously, the jobs playing one way only really feels bad now more than ever. even the smallest amount of choice goes a long way. could be a material you get through exploration or job quests that can be spent on different level 110(?) skills for each job. incentivize actual overworld content and give player choice at the same time? idk how they'll do that when hard content is designed around this stupid idea of dps checks though.

just want something different. job design is so damn static.
