  1. So you can tell, I actually did it the first time while I queue'd for trial roulette as healer. I was very quiet tbh lol. Wasn't very happy with it because I would've liked to do this with friends, and the footage I did as pld was, at least for me, a much better experience. I had a good time lol. Perhaps it may have been my own fault for forgetting that this does happen, but it's ok.

This did bring to my thoughts though: Do you wait for a friend or two to do certain trials and dungeons with you? Was it more fun? Or do you enjoy going solo? (´。• ω •。`)

  2. Those statues did not capture Zodiark at all in his likeness. I have to say the devs did a good job making Zodiark look like Amano’s art of him. Although it didn’t show him having six arms. He only had two.

  3. My first reaction to discovering that Zodiark, the big bad god from all the way to ARR, was not in fact the final boss of Endwalker(or at least the second boss) can be summed up in three words: "NANI THE FUCK?!?!"

  4. Your friend reminded me of Pyromancer screaming about BLM problems (I NEED ENOCHIAAAAAAAN!). I sympathize, despite the schadenfreude.

Also, despite putting us in a lose-lose, Fandaniel was on, like, Plan C when we finally faced Zodiark. The first volley was supposed to drop the shield, and it didn't. Zenos was supposed to take Zodiark, but he got distracted. The goal was always to either kill Zodiark, or take control of Zodiark and usher in the final days himself. Once the seal was broken, all paths led to that goal.

  5. Zenos' entire motivation for letting Fandaniel run amok so long and fueling his own country's destruction was so that he could have a moment to transcend when he clashed with you as Shinryu. If he feels your heart isn't in it, he doesn't even bother. And so he hones his blade, and he waits.

  6. The way that Zenos talks about the oncoming beasts of the apocalypse makes him sound like a jilted lover. "Already you turn to them and away from me," were his words. He's kind of pitiful in a way. He doesn't seem capable of feeling any sort of emotion at all except when he's fighting against you, and he wants it to be just right. The way he wants you to be fully committed to fighting him to the exclusion of all else… He's basically a stalker with a crush, and the power he has and the lengths he will go to make that single-minded obsession truly terrifying. Despite all of his power and all of his ferocity, he doesn't seem to have the ability to care about, well, anything at all. And if he does get a fight with you, what then? Will he be satisfied, or will he go back to the emptiness he felt without having to look forward to a fight with you. Zenos is a monster, but he's also somewhere between pitiful and pitiable, if that makes any sense. At least, from my point of view. Curious as to what you think.

  7. The moment Zenos just walked away, realizing we had more pressing issues at the time, it was the first time i felt genuine respect for him. Yeah he has a one track mind, but he understands that so long as one threat looms over us, he's not a priority, and thus not worth fighting him at full power. So he walks away to wait instead of forcing the fight on you. He genuinely became a better villain in that moment than he felt before in SB and ShB.

  8. And so we finally come to the long awaited fight with Zodiark, and now we get to the best part of this expansion. Prepare yourself Warrior of Light, the final days are uppon us now, and greater fights still await you. Cant wait for the next one!

  9. The wol really needs to tell Zenos, "Listen the quicker I deal with the final days the quicker you can get your fight." I guarantee if you tell Zenos that he would actually help you to the shock of everyone but the wol.

  10. Your gratitude towards Zenos is misplaced, hes not thinking about your troubles or struggles hes a small child that his favorite toy wont play with him, jealous that hes not the center of xour attention the adversary to be conquered.

jane: …where's zodiark? I left him right here–
john: oh, sorry, honey– I accidentally killed zodiark during roulettes
jane: what the fuck, john? you knew I was saving that zodiark for later!
john: look, it was an accident–
jane: goddamn it, you always do this! I can't even kill one elder primal of my own!
john: look, it's not that big a deal. he wasn't fully rejoined anyway
