  1. What's the worst roulette experience you've had?

I had a Bard last night not using songs, not using dots, it felt so excruciatingly long in the dead ends, me and my friends were shocked but up for the challenge though 😅

  2. Aurum Vale. Tank pulls the entire room to the first boss, has no aggro on said group of packs. I was a healer, so, I grabbed all of the agrro. I died first. Entire group dies.

First impression on how that tank plays the game: I left.

  3. There's a lot of those. Still wont forgive the DNC at 95 doing none if its mechs. No dance partner. No raid buff. No AOE. Burn in the deepest pit of the seventh hell.

Having said that, im genuinely surprised at the sheer number of ppl who don't know, or refuse to learn how to play their job.

  4. Aurem Vale… I scream as a Healer and a Tank, cause as a Healer: Please stop running a head, i bearly can keep MYSELF alive.

As a Tank: GOD HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH!?!? WE TAKING TWO, WE TAKING TWO.

  5. Fitting that it's Dead Ends. Had to abandon a late night run because the healer in the tank-healer couple refused to use Esuna in the first boss. Not 'I didn't know this could be cleansed' stupid, but wilfully ignorant 'I'm not pressing this button because fuck you I'm too busy using Cure I'. The couple left after the second wipe and we couldn't fill in the empty slots.

  6. This wasn't even a roulette. This was us doing a gwib farm the other night. Seat of Sacrifice. One tank absolutely would NOT come back so aoe heals would reach him for the first heal check. And he was the one that assigned "places" for everyone and placed our 1 healer as far from himself as possible. So he died Every Single TIME. After the 5th crappy run, he ditched. Ran MUCH smoother after that! 😂

  7. I keep a running log of mentor roulettes and wild runs. Its hard to say which one is my worst at this point because this video is entirely accurate XD The Vale, dead ends, tower of Zot, Shiva ex and Sephirot ex have brought out the worst.

I did have a neverreap once where the Astro pulled everything, couldnt keep herself alive, got pasted and immediately left the duty. That was a weird one.

I had one Seat of Sacrifice run where after the first living dead killed everyone and we wipe I reminded the healers that its a full heal mech. One healer got salty about it and on our next pull, I was the only one they didnt heal to full and died.

Ive been a paladin who was main tank in an Ivalice raid where everying could go wrong did and I'm the only one left standing in my subsection, staying uprgiht with a combo of clemency and hallowed ground. Neither of the other tanks stepped in to help.

Edit: okay, I just remembered a more recent one as red mage. While o12n can often lead to a lot of red mage rez spam moments and believe me it has been, the worst culprit lately has been p12n, where I know I rezed no less than double digit numbers of people, including one healer into a healer lb3. That pull got to a second lb3.

  8. They said there are bots that run high lvl dungeons that spam fire 1 and blizzard 1 but I never encountered them myself. But, I ran Tender Valley the other day and this dragoon who have 720 gears on him, just auto-attacking mobs and bosses. And my friend asked him if he’s a bot and he said no, he said he’s just not paying attention
like why? He did this up to last boss btw

  9. When the 6.3 dungeon dropped my buddies and i had a healer who just could not stop stepping in aoes. I get it right, like its the first day, none of us know what to expect so theres gonna be trial and error. After a certain point though like, you get it and have a cleaner run right? We tried helping them in the chat! But just radio silence the entire time. It took us 80 minutes to finish that dungeon. What trips me out is they had up to date raid gear at the time, so ever since then ive just been stumped as to what the heck went wrong there.

  10. Made the mistake of running a 50/60/70/80 dungeon back in EW as a healer. Got Anamnesis Anyder with a first-timer dps. She apologized ahead of time, but little did I know that the other dps in our group would be just as bad, if not worse than her at avoiding AoEs from the bosses and trash mobs alike.

The whole thing took almost 40 minutes, and I don't think I've ever had Swiftcast so consistently on cooldown in the 7 years I've been playing this game

  11. Astrologian representation nice 🎉
And even tho I most CERTAINLY have been some people's worst roul experience when I was just starting Dark Knight and Astrologian, my worst was definitively an alliraid, co-healer was dying, 2 pictos hugging the floor like a lover they havent seen in 4 decades, tank was aight but definitively their HP was depleting way faster than what it should have been so 100% standing in The Bad I was just too damn busy to even be able to notice. Basically keeping the entire alliance alive and when I pop out of it "1 player commendation" đŸ˜”đŸ˜©đŸ’€. I hope the stars misaligned for them/j

  12. One of the worst duties I was in was…..I was a drg…..tank would pull mobs and would only single attack one enemy at a time from the group of mobs that he pulled….instead of attacking with an aoe attack….. I used my aoe attacks and ofcourse in seconds most of the mobs are on me and the other dps and…then we all die…..the healer and the tank complained to us saying both dps was trying to purposely steel the heat from the tank. And they both threatened to kick us from the duty if it continued. Both me and the other dps said….tank can't do his job and we both left. 😅

  13. This speaks to me on a personal level, outside of the game XD

You’d think working a job like mine, where I don’t have to deal with people as much, would be peaceful, and then my coworkers catch the stupid.

As for in-game, I’ve never encountered quite this degree of dumb, but I have had a few roulettes where I’ve had to wonder if one of the other players’ keys got stuck and their flailing about was actually a cry for help instead of them being dumb.

Surely the healer had their auto-run on because they couldn’t turn it off, and that’s why they pulled the whole dungeon and got us all killed.

    Surely.

  14. Yeah, I joined on a high-level roulette with the final dungeon of Heavensward (three first-time sprouts, they were at final boss when I joined, other DPS apparently left), and the tank kept standing in the Venn diagram of death, and healer kept dying to mechanics.

They were 35 minutes in when I joined, and it took another 40 minutes of attempts to clear the final boss of the dungeon.

  15. Oh I've had some rough runs but it was mostly because people were new and they were fine once they learned what the mechs are. I main AST so I totally feel this… but there are some times I zone out and stand in stuff myself. Some days you deal with a dumbass, some days you ARE the dumbass. lol

  16. Yesterday tank didn’t even know where his stance button was and insisted he didn’t have it then once he found it he proceeded to run thru the dungeon using NOT A SINGLE AOE MOVE and would just walk thru mobs like that was enough to get Aggro đŸ€Šâ€â™‚ïž

  17. I feel like healer mains need to come together and sign a petition for allowing more Rescues during combat or at least a faster cool down timer! I can't tell you how many times I had to choose which person to rescue out of mechanics only for them to WALK BACK INTO IT! facepalms in white mage
