The Lady In Red | FFXIV Stormblood

Sometimes Lyse is an idiot… but sometimes she learns from it lol.

Hard to dislike her headstrong and yet caring nature when you’ve known her since the beginning of the game, even by a different name and going by a different personality.

But that’s just me.

Anyways, enjoy this long vid!

The last part of base Stormblood will also be long so look forward to it. 😀

  1. Yes, Lyse is such an underrated character. Compared to some of the Scions, she definitely got more character development. Shes still lacking wisdom compared to Raubahn, but she has the right attitude and vision to be a good leader in the future.
Just think about it, if shes an ordinary person she would be grieving for a long time after Papalymo's death, but she didn't

  2. I think it might’ve been mentioned before but this does clear up that the lore reason why we can see AOE markers and cast bars is because the Echo tells us the attacks are coming.

  3. As much as I don’t like Lyse. This part of the story was really good! I’ve been watching this series for a bit and I’ve been talking to myself. “She’s gonna die in shadowbringers if she stormblood makes her feel this way” I really love the editing though!

  5. Lyse spent years pretending to be both her sister as well as a carefree soul, someone who never worried about the details of things because Papalymo was the guy with the plans. So, when she was pretending to be Yda, she came off as bubbly, whimsical and generally absent minded or ditzy. So…. when Papalymo is no longer around, you get to see who she really is. It takes time to start working things out for yourself again, especially when your primary impulse as a carefree sort was to punch any problems that stood in your way. If you contrast this with Lyse's demonstrated impulses in this section of Stormblood and elsehwere, it says a lot for her as a person. However, a lot of people tend not to understand this, so there's a lot of people who hate Lyse. I am interested in where she goes as a leader and a person, if we'll be presented with seeing more of her growth as a person and leader. I also loved learning more about Raubahn, who is an incredibly terrifying big cuddly teddy bear.
