  1. May its chorus ring for all…

This ending broke me. Harder than any ever before which is more than simply impressive. I barely made it through without crying an 11th time at the end just thinking about everything. And that says nothing for the countless times I’ve cried watching my own reactions, watching others, and just hearing this music…

Don’t thank me for tuning in. Thank you for sharing your journey.

  2. And so we come to the end of this tale. Thanks so much for the vids Ysa, it was the best reliving these stories again and seeing and hearing the reactions. Thanks so much for all the hard work and all the effort put into these vids. Excited to see the next one whatever the journey may be.

  3. Its actually very possible to die at the second phase of endsinger, she gains damage stacks everytime she does her scream attack. Wait too long to kill her and she'll do too much damage to heal through, it's a soft enrage timer

  4. Basically everybody became too dependent on the Scions coming to the rescue every time a crisis showed up. That causes the issue of the Grand Company and their allies not growing up into an actual reliable force of stability.

Thus the Scions decided to pretended that they disbanded.

  6. I just realized something! Each of the worlds Meteoin shows us in hopes of dissuading us reflects a potential outcome in our journey.

The first was a land stricken by plague, one that spread after defeating another nation. This parallels the release of the black rose after Garlemald’s defeat.

The second was a war torn nation under a single banner. The outcome of Garlemald’s success over uniting Ethyris under a single banner.

The third was a peaceful land filled with imperfect beings that found perfection, but lost meaning over life. The exact world Emet-Selch hoped to bring back.

Each of these worlds could’ve been our own and Meteion wanted to show us that. But in doing so I feel like it only steeled our resolve, because in standing together did we overcome each of these outcomes.

  7. It looks like you missed it, or at the very least didn't include it in the video. Urianger has dialogue after his farewell in the Rising Stones that states a surge of Dynamis echoed from Ultima Thule, a single command "Live". Urianger believes it had something to do with the remote arriving to ferry you to safety, as Moenbryda's parents were clear the remote didn't have such properties on its own.

Whether or not that wish to for one to live was from yourself, Zenos, or another is something Urianger isn't sure of. I like to think though, that Zenos in his own way didn't wish for you to die at the edge of the universe. You gave him all he could ever want, acceptance for his reason to exist. Perhaps in some way you were the only person Zenos ever really cared about, and you in turn saw past the shell to the being he truly was. My WoL will carry that memory, of a man raised to be broken, without whom the entire world would've been reduced to nothing.

  8. The dialogue at the end with the white robed person changes depending on the gender of WOL
"Alas, I dare not investigate in earnest before the coming of my guiding star, as she/he foretold"

  9. I can't imagine how annoying it is listening to a negative Nancy go on and on about not liking something you like when you're in the finale of said thing 1:00:30. Even if he is a friend.

Love the videos though Ysayeau, as always 🙂

Edit: Oh god he's talking over the fricken dialogue.

  10. I remember feeling such sadness at the end of MSQ, even knowing it was not the end of the scions. Both for myself and the WoL, the rising stones and scions had become a home, and not having them all waiting there anymore… But it's nice to go greet them every once in a while in their own corners of the world. (you better finish up your work soon, G'raha!)

  11. "hey so what have you been playing lately"

    "oh mostly FFXIV"

    "oh yeah? is it good?"

proceeds to have several hundred hours worth of story and grinding and raiding and treasure hunting and crafting and mount farming and lore discussion and just all of the love and care that has been added into this fantastic as fuck game and story

    "yeah its pretty good"

  12. its amazing that something I originally thought kind of silly for a god to tell us at the beginning "Hear, Feel, Think" would be woven throughout the entirety of this story to be the reason we ended the final days and gave optimism back to the embodiment of despair. Such great writing

  13. Something important about the end credits:

While the end walking scene works for most songs if you actually sit through them the song the use lines up really well and is really rewarding to have done so
