The short answer is yes. Raiding is designed to be one of the most fun activities you can do in FFXIV. A lot of people get intimidated by the difficulty, but that’s the whole point, to be some of the most difficult content that you can encounter. There are many many casual raid groups out there that are looking for members all the time, and a lot welcome new players.

To add a bit of context to this video, Neiyoh joined our static before the current raid tier e9-e12s, at the time we were working on UCOB with various subs having just recently cleared UWU with a tank who unfortunately could no longer be a part of our group. Neiyoh always wanted to raid in 14 but never looked into joining another group and so I reached out to him and basically said why not we'll turn you into a raider. Our group is very casual when it comes to our mentality during raid time in the sense that we focus a lot more on having fun rather than hardcore progging, progressing is fun but my goal for the static is to make sure that we don't only have fun if we're progging because some days you just don't for one reason or another.
After throwing Neiyoh into the fire with UCOB we shifted gears and took him into min ilvl synced O12S in order to teach him more mechanics and more about high end content in order to prepare him for the next eden raid tier and the next ultimate. In the probably 5-6 months that he's been a part of the static he's improved tremendously and ever since we started doing the current tier I wanted him to make a video like this one in order to encourage others to look for raid groups because anyone can raid. Anyone can raid because anyone can have fun and slowly get better at the game like Neiyoh did. Since the next ultimate has been pushed back to 6.0 we're right back where we started when Neiyoh joined the static and I'm very happy with the times we've shared with him and the amount of improvement he's shown since he first started.
I hope this video can encourage some of the people who watch it and are on the fence about raiding to give it a shot. Though… I wouldn't exactly suggest joining an ultimate raid group as your first raiding experience LOL

Short answer no
oh shit, didn't realize you started playing again
What in the name of god do you do in a 16 minute fight? Does it just keep repeating things over and over again or is it straight up like 10 phase encounter? Is there an enrage that just straight up kills you at 16 minutes or can you just keep going until it dies?
Bruh, raiding is LIT. Chambers of Xeric is so much fun. Gonna get me a Twisted Bow.
