The only gear probably used from GC is artisan for crafting, and the flame captain. The Flame captain's helm + replica sky pirate fending (lvl 1) also looks cool. other than that it's better with lvl 50/60 with poetics gear. Other than that, can enter dungeon with NPC? and get all the gear for yourself for turning it in to GC.
Me trying FFXIV a long time ago : So they have free trial till lvl 60… Lets try it first then start the sub… where to download? oh maybe I need to buy the box game first, then the sub only counted after lvl 60… So I put this serial number in mog website, OK registered. Now the game launched as well… now let's try the free trial…
2 days later log in to mog website (why my 30 days sub count already at 28 days now?). turned out I started the game with full sub by mistake from the start.
Oh, while u are still free trail, try to get arr relic(if u think u can commit) the suffering is rewarding enough to justify the glows. (Also it helps if u lvl cap all job to reduce gear slot bloat). For crafter, good luck on crafting the ironworks gear(it unify the crafter and gatherer gear, thus more space)
