  1. Oh man, i remember back in the day when i played SWTOR we had a colorblind girl in our static. She saw green and blue as same color, and one of the bosses had a mechanic that "assigned" colors to players, and players should spread/stack with each other depend on the color. Imagine how much "Why are you running" memes we had when i tried to stack with her, and she thought i had a different color.

  2. Yeah, I can see how being color blind would be a big fucking problem. The only thing I could consider is using the markers instead of the scenery, but I dunno if those would also be hard to see to a colorblind person…

  3. I remember when our group finally got her into the playstation phase, only for our range to then cut in "So here is the fun thing guys. I'm colour blind." (Symbols, yes, but still. That was something we didn't knew. °L°)

  4. I'm slightly colorblind, and while I can see the orange, I thought the other side was purple D:. My friends are used to me asking for forms or names instead of colour, in that sense, FFXIV is quite colorblind friendly.

  5. Might I ask what the hell are those markers? Literally follow no logical distribution. Tell your raid leader to handle them out in pairs as in A1 B2 C3 D4 starting with A on North, that should slightly help with orientation.

  6. i have a friend who barely sees any colours and i keep trying to explain shit with colors when were playing. i sympathize so much with being unable to remember something you dont have to deal with on a daily basis…

  7. I love how color-blindness is one of the only deficiencies that is universally ok to pick on someone about. Like, we all have a sense of humor about it and jokingly feel bad, but nobody is upset or frustrated. It's just a thing thats poked fun at by anyone and accepted by all. If disabilities were a character in a story, color-blindness would be the popular kid.
