Gaming, in the last few days Ive done a lot of the sidequests for Garlemald, Elpis, Labyrinthos….and as for lore, if you do those, there are some VERY strong hints as to what is coming next. One in specific used a word I had not seen for a while…"restoration".

Would I try 1.0 again? Maybe out of curiosity. But I tried 1.0 at the time and couldn't get past many of the combat styles and game systems. Admittedly part of this was I had never played an FF game before so I wasn't really invested in the series and the free trial was very short at release – like maybe 12 hours? I've dealt with other games that have clunky combat systems and been okay, so at the time it was more that SE didn't give me enough time to adapt in the free trial to make me interested. Other games at the time were giving free weekends or even an entire week. But again, this is more of the hubris that YoshiP discussed I think – this is an FF game so they assumed that people would just buy it regardless of free trials or not.
