  1. With the exception of samurai melee dps just don’t bring the dps to warrant playing them. Casters do just as much if not more dps and have to deal with half the shit melee do. Excluding samurai there needs to be more reward.

  2. Hey quick question, when you're a melee like samurai and pop bloodbath before putting your dot while buffed by everything imaginable on the boss does it act as a Regen on you whenever it ticks?

  3. I can see the flaming wreckage of the "So you just boosted" video comment section already and the video doesn't even exist yet.
But really solid video and I'm glad you mentioned Bloodbath or other self healing options. Sometimes these skills can actually go hand in hand with Greeding. And, heck, if you know you're gonna get hit by a roomwide or targeted attack anyway you might as well make the healers life a little easier.

  4. So you boosted a character sounds the most interesting because I’ve seen a flood of them recently and really I just want people to know how to play the game and then they can consume it in whatever fashion they so desire.

  5. Legendary costs are too high and made me quit the game for good (combined to the other annoyances). I should spend at least 40€ in tokens to upgrade 3 legendries (need more, but they are the basic ones I need for each spec).

  6. Just started levelling a lancer after playing casters and healers in ARR. The freedom of movement is nice for dodging big attacks, but 1 thing I find SUPER ANNOYING is that my skills can miss!

  7. I have zero experience with MMOs and started as melee is just a pain. Luckily as you said, in the low level, missing positional do not hurt that much(in dragoon case cus monk still very bad) which is why I can improve day by day without giving up. And I feel like to play a melee job to its maximum, either using controller or both hands on keyboard cus so many buttons to press.

  8. True North: the role action you learn to value the most is also the most frustrating one. There just never seem to be enough charges to keep up with all the spinning and hopping bosses tend to do in 8 man content, especially if you have lazy tanks. T_T

  9. Uptime is important not only because you will be in range to use your skills, but also because you'll be able hit with your auto attack. Auto attacks count for a considerably large portion of your damage if you are playing any job that has them.
