I enjoy playing with others, but I can't stand speed run 'culture'. I've decided I pretty much never want to run another 4-player dungeon with others so long as the design is built for speed running corridors. I enjoy the boss arenas though. … So I'd love to just have trusts as a method of leveling up jobs on those dungeons without ever having to speed run them.

Trick question. I'm on Aether and no one can make new characters to play even if they wanted to. I had a bunch of friends that I was so close to getting to play when they locked us down. Again. Still. At least on my server, it's also destroyed the economy and made it nearly impossible to get retry points for the Khloe journal.
The wait for this next Live Letter is excruciating.😞
Still doing the raid tier casually, but I'm looking forward to more MSQ in 6.1. Less excited for the queue time to shoot up again

Playing through ARR huh? I'm totally down to watch around level 48+ of ARR but so much of it is rough. Nice video, I finally got married! =p. I'll take a break til 6.1, playing some Total War:Warhammer 3 with my buddy and dealing with married life stuffs. (Only video gaming like 5-10 hours a week at the moment).
I don't mind how things are currently, though I do dislike having to wait hours to be able to do Coils of Bahamut etc
Not gonna lie, #Ginger, the MMO purist in me doesn't want the single player experience in this game. It's an MMO.

I actually need help stopping from playing 14 more….Now Fridays are map days….I'm gearing alts making gil…. I tried to play 9.2 in WoW but its so amazing to gear doing FUN things its hard going back to just killing things.
If you haven't started, I think Chris n Brian are always saying right now is the best time to start playing. There are many different servers that cater to all players and soon it won't matter for raiding with data center travel. Live on a small server and visit for raids.
I'm on the Crystal data center and I'm still raiding and cleaning up P3S. I'm in a static(raiding party that stays together until completion) and its easy to either pug into raids or post on a discord for groups(each data center has one).
There's alot to do outside of story and the normal mmo thing. I think FF14 is just a great game regardless of its genre.

FFXIV is such a different game.
Every expansion has its own endgame.
High level players can still do lower level content.
