  3. Shadowbringers has such an amazing story, the road from the start of 5.0 to the end 6.0 is honestly one of my favorite stories in fiction ever.
    The Tesleen moment is brutal as always. "Welcome To Shadowbringers!"

  11. Just a heads up, its been called that Artbert is the one, who started the Flood, and also the one responsible for Flood are villains called "Warriors of Light", so basically Artbert is known as one of those accursed Warriors of Light

  20. I've heard many streamers say many things right before Tesleen's incident, but "I'm marrying her" is a new one I must admit.

    Also, we need a new emote of 2's "WTF" face when he's listening to the sounds effects during the cocoon phase.

  29. The two beginning quests for this expansion are fucking extreme. What I like about it is the really subtle way they made them both fitting for each of the twins. Aliase is outspoken and brash, and her quest was fucking brutal and very in-your-face. It suits her. Alphinaud is more cerebral and thinking, and his quest line fits that but is just as dark when you piece it all together. This whole shard is just fucked. It is such a massive slap in the face from the previous expansions. The head writer really held no punches when she wrote both Shadowbringers and Endwalker. This is just a taste of the storytelling you’re in for. You’re in for a really badass ride

  32. When that happened to Tesleen, my first reaction was "When did ffxiv turn into a horror game? What's happening?". They really managed to convey the sheer brutality of the First with that single scene, but I do wonder what they had in mind originally, because what we saw was the "toned down" version.

    And not just because of what happened at 1:43:50, well that too but still. Here's a fun fact about the Crystarium:

    The Crystarium is a recreation of a town that was made in a presentation for FFXIV back in 2005 or so, long before the disasterrific launch of 1.0
