It's so sad, I remember when Heavensward went online and meeting Dad Fortemps the first time, I loved his VA because it suited him so well… And then I started searching for other voice actors and apparently Yugiris VA was killed by her husband and a few others died as well, it's so sad. I hope their happy and free wherever they are now
1:51 I feel weirdly vindicated when characters pronounce Bahamut as "Ba-HAH–mut" because I grew up on the PS1 games without voiceovers. I've seen people say it like "Baha-MOOT" or "BAY-A-METT" and it drives me nuts.
Man, Arenvald has come so far since ARR. From an Ala Mhigan half-blood that was taken under the wings of A’aba Tia and Aulie to someone with a good enough heart to give Fordola chances to redeem herself and become something more than a vengeful warrior.
Estinien understanding how important it is that Alphinaud actually believe he can work to make things better is such a wonderful component of the story.

By the Twelve I can't believe how many deathflags they gave to poor Arenvald. I genuinely thought all that was gonna be left of him was a wet stain on the ground or that he would serve as some sort of example about how the echo would no longer totally protect you from tempering or something, and that WoL and Alphinaud would either have to put him down or something else twisted like that… I don't think I've been that anxious and worried over a game character for a few years.
On another note, Alisaie meeting Estinien for the first time was amazing! I kid you not, someone on Reddit predicted damn near the whole thing, word for word, action for action, and I happened to read that only a couple days before 5.5. That escalated the whole thing to a new level of hilarious for me, though I can't help but wonder what my reaction would have been if that came completely out of nowhere instead of me having pondered about it beforehand.
Thanks for the content Bree! Glad to see you decided on separating 5.5 and 5.55. I like super long videos too but they can be a bit challenging to fit into a weekday.
"Dreams worth fighting for don't die so easily". This is something Fordola doesn't get. Dreams worth fighting for don't die with the individual. They are carried on through the people that live.
I really appreciate that Fanny Danny's plan hinges on the unsundered being gone. It would be nice to see G'raha ponder if this new calamity is worse than the one he strove to prevent.
It's things like alphys comment in this particular post game that make me think there is going to be a time skip, if not in post game end walker, then in the next expansion.

Arenvald and Alphie are so cute together definitely my favorite potential couple. Finally alphie has a crush on a guy around his age.
Alphinaud reuniting with his strong male role models is one of the best things in this patch. Our boy is growing up into a man before our eyes.
