  1. Rich always goes waaaaay off the field wtih his theories, no your not Hydaelyn's heart, otherwise you wouldn't have the freedom you have. Zodiark kept his promise and brought their world back from destruction, in return 1/2 of the entire population must be sacrificed for him to stay satiatied with Aether, like any other Primal he needs Aether to survive. So the Amarotians population would get to a stable amount and then the convecation would sacrifice 1/2 the population, rinse and repeat. Those against this plan summoned Hydaelyn to defeat and shackle Zodiark. You find out soon who you are….there was a key word in that conversation that hints at someone else.

  11. This is my take rich and just take it for what it's worth. I believe that zodiac did nothing wrong he was summoned by these-Acsians to help save their world. From what I understand he did that he sprang forth a lot of new life on the world. The Acsians that were left then wanted to sacrifice the Creations that zodiac created for the world because they thought those beings were less worthy of life. So they wanted to sacrifice the life-forms that zodiac created to make the planet healthy again to bring back their own dead that they sacrificed in the first place to summon zodiac. Then the other good Acsians, cool we are watching now are the ones who didn't think it was fair to sacrifice the new life that zodiac had created just to bring back Acsians. The good guys believed that they their species had had their chance and that zodiac brought new life to the planet and that life should have a chance to thrive so they summoned hidilyn to chain zodiark so that the others couldn't keep feeding zodiac to then kill the new life. So it wasn't that zodiac did something wrong it was that as long as zodiac was not Shackled these other asiens would continue to sacrifice lives for example kill the new life that zodiark created so they can bring back their friends and these guys didn't think that was okay so they summoned hidilyn to lock zodiark away so he couldn't be used for evil. I think zodiac is just darkness he's not necessarily evil the Assyrians we've been fighting have become warped and twisted and evil because of eons and eons of like being Acsians at this point. I mean we've seen what happens when a world get consumed by Darkness it dies or when the world gets consumed by light it dies there needs to bebalanced. But with them constantly trying to kill to feed zodiark they were throwing things out of balance and it was probably their own creation magic that got out of control that cause that very first world ending Calamity that was destroying their own civilization through their own misuse and abuse of creation Magic so let's not be sad it's all their own damn fault and the and the few people who tried to summon Hydalin, those were the heroes of the story and what I believe is most likely the player character, us, is the incantation of the leader of the people who summoned hidilyn
