  1. Its weird to call the echo useless when it's said seeing the aoe and hazard markers are supposed to represent your echo giving insight mid combat, but thats said out loud in game so I guess it's not obvious huh

  2. Hey I haven't started watching this one yet I just wanted to say #1 Thank you for uploading these, I love to see Rich going through this. #2, I don't know if its the case with your uploads going forward but please stop cutting out half of important cutscenes!

  3. Man, seeing Rich talk about how everyone is racist in FFXIV for calling lesser races beast tribes gets me really excited about when he'll finally reach Shadowbringers and find out that the Dwarves are a beast tribe.

  4. Gods, the subplot and fallout of Alphi buying the katana is so great. I think it's in a side-conversation that you can find out Tataru put the fear of god in him so hard that he didn't so much as buy a cup of tea without consulting her first…

  5. I always thought they tried to hint us Asahi is an asshole at the start by how he sounds in English until I rewatched it in Japanese. The man talked too gently I would believe he was genuinely sincere and just misunderstood until he switched his voice. I think this is where the EN VA failed the writing's intention.

  6. Lol this is the one time I disagreed so hard with a friendly NPC. Tsuyu has done terrible things but I felt for her been sold to a brothel. I had zero sympathies for her pimp and was disappointed at Hien’s response. Pretty shitty.

  7. Video spoilers

I legit do not like the decision they made for Raubahn. He spent 20 years in Uldah. He fought tooth and nail for everything he had. Made the arena what it was, became a syndicate member, then leader of the Immortal Flames as well as built a life with his adopted son and became a close advisor to Nanamo. Then instead of just helping out rebuilding Ala Mihgo in his capacity as leader of the Immortal Flames he wants to leave everything behind for essentially nothing? He has no reason to be in Ala Mhigo beyond nationality. By that point Uldah was more of a home than Ala Mhigo. It just feels like a hollow decision.
