If SQE ever decides to create job skins one day, they should definitely turn to mod creators. They have a real passion for stuff like that. Just imagine summoners having the freedom to choose which primals they want to summon, dancers having a kit of aesthetically different dances, or white mages being able to choose a specific element for each of their abilities. Job fantasy would be at its peak

Pepsis is fun when you learn snapshots because you get the benefit of both the shield AND the heal. Like if you know the EXACT timing for twin's fireball, you can pepsis snapshot it and bang, everyone's full health. I do it on that sorta stuff, heavensfall tower, nael stacks ect. Pmuch just any raidwide in the game you know the snapshot of you can get a fuckload of healing and shielding out of it. Like I'd probably do quaga in DSR or even p3 stack once I got super cosy with it, y'know? It's just learning the timing.
Actually insane how crazy those mods were. Ngl tho, that DRG LB would 100% cause the player to die sometimes KEKW. Really sucks to see the devs shame this rather than embrace it. Though I get it, even if they did, so many things they could never openly support.
I genuinely feel bad for people who can't/won't mod, y'all are missing out on a completely different game.
You know, people say that visual mods like this do not affect gameplay. Thing is, there's an argument to be made that ultra flashy mods like that DO affect gameplay: By further obscuring your screen and thus making it more likely for you to not see an AoE and die to it. No one would expect a mod to give you a gameplay disadvantage, but this one surely does.
tbh the devs that create the vanilla vfx should feel ashamed after seeing what the community can do 😅 if skills looked this flashy during ARR levels it would def help not to fall asleep mid fight

One of the best vfx mods ive ever seen for sage right there, putting the developers to shame.
WHY IS SQUAREENIX NOT MONATIZING THE SHIT OUT OF THIS!? Seriously you add themed ability kits like these to the shop and we are talking MILLIONs of dollars of revenue. Hire this guy and put him on payroll.
The SGE one has this issue of "every button must be LB3". I can't imagine playing with it even though, I must say, it does looks SO FUCKING COOL
The Dragoon one was just fucking outstanding in every way. I just didn't like the Thrust but that's whatever. Everything was insanely cool, clear and didn't obfuscate the field.
11/10, would ban and not use because mods are bad we don't use those.
