  1. The song itself is good until you have to do the fight 4 times because people die to propeller winds and all you hear is "FORWARD AND BACK AND THEN GO FORWARD AND BACK" over and over until someone finally leaves the raid due to pure rage as if the mfing boss itself is taunting you.

    I hate you Cruise Chaser.

  2. You were hearing the chorus from Locus, which is shared with most of the Alexander Raid Series tracks.(Locus, Metal, Brute Justice, Exponential Entropy, Rise). Glad to see ya at it still~!

  3. As the comments have been sure to tell you, this is the type of song that just by sending the 3 magic words in a ff14 discord server, you will trigger the PTSD of everyone reading at that moment, and they'll have it stuck autoplaying in their heads for an hour if not more.

Also i paused at the exact moment jesse is looking drugged out his mind at 5:59

  4. Jesse's brain this week after this… "Forward and back and then go forward and back and then go forward and back then put one foot forward" times 200 :p

  5. Could u react to resident evil 3 remake's theme „Methamorphosis". I swear not all themes in the series are joke like the basement soundtrack. I really like your videos and i hope you respond!

  6. Having a "Soken Sound" is literally the best way to describe any xiv song. Soken loves building this weird thematic sequence across each expansion. it's lovely.

  7. I don’t know if you’re familiar with like WOW raids for example, a place where there’s a bunch of bosses. The Alexander is like that, it’s a giant ship with lots going on and lots a artificial intelligences, so there’s a lot of motifs used in the place

  8. Regarding The Primals stuff, it's hard to change up things for an album when you are the ones who made the song in the first place, I guess lol It's easier to be different when playing live haha I gotta be honest, this song gets maddening when you're doing "the hard version" of the fight aka people not jumping on the cruiser and wiping the group through lacking damage! Makes me feel like I am in a time loop myself

  9. I think Jesse still needs to hear Locus and Rise! To complete Alexander. I think that version of The Primals is studio and not live. The guy order you hear the track is Locus > Metal > Metal Brute Justice Mode > Exponential Entropy > Rise!. Then you should try the Omega series. And with Cruise Chaser, the boss here, you have see. Comments explaining the story, but what I haven’t seen is that this boss is guarding Alexander’s core. The next fight after is Alexander Prime.

  11. While this is definitively not as bad, this song did make me think of the "Pa-Paya" song as it has the similar repeating aspect. Except this one actually changes.

  12. "Is this the Anthem for insane people?" Do Cruise Chaser, which is the Boss you see here, often enough with randoms and you certainly feel that way. I love the fight, but I dread getting it in Duty Finder.
