i stopped playing a while ago, but i had the perfect spot mansion in limsa for myself, which i shared with 2 friends. i bought the place off back then for 60 million from the person who lived there before me, so he would demolish his house and i would be able to buy it, before the 4 day timer got released. then i had to spend the 45 million for the plot and i spend around 30 more million on the furniture. that was at the end of heavensward and i was farming day and night gardener gathering materials and sold them for 3 months to collect all that gil and furniture. but because i didnt want to lose the house in case i wanted to return, i had my sub going on for 1,5 years and logged in once a week to keep my mansion until i was fed up and warned my friends to just take whatever furniture they want and didnt bother logging in anymore.
i hope a free company got the plot after me and not someone like me who also just leaves it as an expensive, pretty and lifeless neglected taken plot.
well thats wly im waiting for ishgardian apartaments, im not gonna lose apartament even if i dont play half year

That's why people get into RP in this game. Once the raiding and crafting craze is done, you've leveled everything and optimized it, you go into RP clubs and do body shots off of a virtual catbois bum.

"Can you stop dying?" was the phrase that made realize that FFXIV community is not squeaky clean. That was my first time at sunken temple and rather than being shown the ropes I was bullied.
In 8 Years of playing, i just wiped the raid party just once. A week ago, i was in the second endwalker raid with two of my friends (one was healer). I panicked as everyone had some aoe stack and used my Shukuchi (aka Shadowstep) because of that to avoid kill someone else – but i jumped right in my healer friend, killed her and caused a domino chain reaction, because in the next phase there was not enough healing and everyone died. Because of me. Never felt so bad before. xD
Same with mitigation comment. XD Was asked to use mitigation…while Rampart was up and had been using mitigation the whole time. :p
Well… sometimes you hit lvl 90 dungeon and tank has an aggro stance, but still… half of the 20 mobs are attacking you, because Tank after using aoe's once to get their attention continue with attacking only one monster with his big hit combo, and let everyone else be attacked by other 10 mobs pulled, because they don't use AOE to keep the mitigation going. Meanwhile DPS are nicely hitting all aoe combos to deal with problem faster, and let healer worry less. This is the only time when I ask Tanks politely, to do more AOE's because we are dying here. Smll pulls – no problem. Not sprinting – no problem. Forgetting tank stance – can happen to everyone. But attacking 1 mob at 80-90 lvl dungeon -forget about it. We need to talk 😀
Also 😀 I really believe even great players can have a bad day, and perform like they are having no idea what's going on, and it's still frustrating. If they tell at the party chat "sorry" or explain before "Hey, I was not playing 2 years" or so, I am fine with this. At least some communication and good will (!) But if they don't even try, and are jerks who don't care about players in roulette… then I will give them "mother's talk", and I don't pay their sub.
Plus, after 4 expansions, hundreds of dungeons, and trials, and bozja, and eureka, seeing people with legendary items/greatest gear and so on still panicking every new fight, it's weird. You could though they already learned how to deal with mechanics and play good enough. But sometimes they kill everyone else, because they follow the thinking "I need to survive first, then worry about others" – and this is what killing people 😀
I lost my house when they reinstituted the timeout policy after suspending it for a few months during covid. I was mad at first, but now I've just stopped giving a shit about housing items. It sucks, it really killed a part of the game for me I was enjoying. They need to add an apartment-style option with larger spaces for players who enjoy decorating but don't give a crap about other people seeing their house.
How do you feel about the Endwalker changes to SAM positionals?
Yeah tell me about i lost my house, bad enough people want to relocate to different areas with there small house. FYI go to goblet no one really like having housing in that area. Dont want to be spending 24hours clicking a dam buy button only to have some dumbass relocate there small house to the place you been trying to buy. UGH and shame you people that do that you should know the struggle!
