Do you click your skills with your mouse even if sometimes?
main rota is buttons but ogcd stuff I click. I like clicking, feels better somehow.
I use a trackball
I went through all of this back in my wow days. I don't keybind every single move, just the ones I spam. One of the other healers I raided with regularly found out and made a big deal about it. Called me trash, saying I should uninstall, all that type of stuff. Went on for a few days until the raid leader finished pouring over raid data. Turned out I was doing something like nearly 70% more healing than him, was more efficient with my heals, and managed my resources better every time I was in a group with him.
I use mouse to click some very specific skills on alternative hotbars. Mainly potions and some skills I only have to press once when I zone in (Like Dance Partner)
but once I got an MMO Mouse, I managed to move every important skill I need onto it along with using the 1,2,3,4,5 keys as well.
But potions…. I always clicks those cause god damn they can be finicky.
I'm a full on clicker. Cleared every single raid there is in FFXIV while it was relevant. Hovered around being the 1st or 2nd in DPS within my static. The difference is, most of my UI is closer to my eye level. Keybinder can have a much cleaner UI.
I am a clicker and I do better than most none clickers
