  1. Well explained! Just to clarify, it only said dodge the second time because there's a small chance to dodge enemy attacks if they're below your level (and vice versa). The fact that the text came up means the game decided that he was in the AOE.

  2. This is like 99% true there are VERY very rare instances where an aoe path will show up on the ground and you wont be hit until the animation actives but these are very rare and u'll know it when you see it ( or get hit by it) but for the majority of mechanics in the game this is the rule to stick by.

  3. Another huge no brainer is turning on legacy as it allows you to easier move in all directions without moving camera. Gets very important later on in endgame content since you need to be extremely quick and precise to dodge constant aoe's and still continuing to do full dps on the boss. Dodging AOE should be the least of your concerns in this game as knowing what triggers them becomes more important when the game no longer gives you time to move safely out of them from all distances.

  4. This is WEIRD AS SHIT. You can literally stand right in the mechanic and not get hit, as long as you arent in the telegraph animation. Ooookaaaaaayyyyyyy…..

  5. This only works for attacks with ground indicators.
Other attacks like the ones you have to turn your back, you HAVE to wait for the animation to play before you can face the boss again.
