  1. If there's one thing that concerns me about FFXIV is that they seem to be doing less of these dumb antics lately, and even not having an April Fools for the first time this year I think? I hope it was mostly just being busy getting ready for Endwalker, and now we also know that many of them were also working on FF16 too, so hopefully we see more of this kind of stuff again now that 16 is wrapping up and Endwalker is out.

If you haven't yet, check out and of the earlier fanfest panels, especially ones that feature Koji and Soken together, they have such amazing chemistry.

  2. I'm glad that they have moments like this, where they can just cut up & have fun for a few moments without constantly worrying about the next project, or the next patch cycle, or…

I've said it before – I think many of us have – but they love what they're doing and it absolutely shows through in the finished product, and also moments like these as well.

  3. God they're so fun, I would love to work at that company.
When these two die I will honestly probably stop playing ff14 out of respect for the two of them and what they worked so hard to create.
    Just genuinely fantastic people.

  4. I am Japanese. They are genuinely friends. Very close actually because they use a thing called "Namaesute" meaning they forgoing titles. And using the word "You". In Japanese, they are no proper way to address them as "You". The only way to do is when you forgo the title because you are friends or family such as "Omae" and "Anata".
