I think there needs to be a distinction from a cosplay contest and a glamour contest. Glam contests are "Original OC plz no steal." And cosplays are self explanatory. Each one has it's own merits. Cosplays are how well do you look like the character, is there any way you could have looked more like the character, etc. Glam contests are how do you make this work, did you use a set or individual pieces, how do the colors match, etc. Each have their own merits, just they are distinct. And I'd be embarrassed if I showed up to one expecting the other. Just my two cents.
