1. Final Fantasy for most of it's games has been more Medival Fantasy over Weeby fantasy. Final Fantasy is one of those Japanese series that tries to appeal to more than just a niche Japanese audience. Turns out that many Japanese people also like these kinds of stories

5. Can we for a moment appreciate how camera moves in cutscenes? Even when intense events happens, it picks very comfortable angles and moves/changes position very smoothly, showing us all we need.
   That's a small detail in FF14 I like very much.

33. To this day I still think what constitutes a "weeby story" is a fuzzy definition at best. Here Preach talks about how the story was taken seriously, while I've heard others say it when a story is too sincere and heartfelt. Or is it really just if a japanese style mascot-type character is involved?
